Summary
Jung Wooyoung has always known that the day would come when his parents would officially marry and mate him off to the alpha he's been betrothed to for basically his whole life. He didn't want that though, he despised the alpha and the whole of the Lee royal family.
His parents have told him countless times that it's his duty to his family to make sure that they keep up good favor with their closest allies. He refused to marry someone he didn't love, or even like for that matter. He wouldn't be apart of that depressing and miserable life where he had no say in what he could or couldn't do.
So, despite knowing he would miss his elder alpha brothers, he decides to run away from home. Fueled by anger and frustration, he escapes into the woods and towards the shore, far away from his family's kingdom.
Sneaking onto a pirate ship probably wasn't his most brightest decision, but the compulsion of getting as far away from everything he's ever known drives him to make a rather rash decision. Little did he know it was probably the worst, but yet best decision he's ever made.
Such a decision allows him to meet the seven pirates which will change his life forever. After all, eight makes one team.
