Summary
After leaving the stress of city life behind, Saihara moves to a quiet cut off from the rest of the world village to live with his uncle as his apprentice. At least, that is the half-truth that Saihara tells to anyone who asks, to avoid further questions. The whole truth is that he ran away from his problems at home in shame, and he sees his uncle so rarely that calling it an apprenticeship is merely a formality, and his new life is only a little less stressful than his old, if at all. Even the aforementioned village is not as straightforward as the initial claim would make it seem. While it's no lie that the world Saihara is used to barely matters here, there is a different, entirely unfamiliar one just beneath the surface.
