“No one will bother us here,” Levi said.
A weight finally lifted off of Eren’s shoulders, and he cupped Levi’s face before he kissed him. His chest got lighter, and his mouth filled with a taste that had become familiar in the past two weeks. Levi’s lips were soft against his and his fragrance, delicate but memorable, mixed with the smell of the ocean, a scent that would now always remind him of his trip to Japan.
“I’ve wanted to kiss you all evening,” Eren whispered, resting his forehead on Levi’s.
