The blond’s blood hums in his ears, and he feels a flash of anger and loss of control as his blood pressure rises. “I mean it! Sylvain!” For a moment, in his sleep-deprived state, Dimitri lets the creature inside him take over. But a moment is all it takes. Before fully processing what’s going on, the prince storms out of his room and into the hall. He feels a bit like a divine beast as he rushes at Sylvain’s door, which is locked. However, nothing could have stopped him from achieving his aim at that moment.When Dimitri strongarms the door open, breaking the latch in the process, he’s nonplussed by the sight before him.
