Summary
Steven is an omega of nearly twenty years who cannot seem to find any alpha or male beta agreeable enough to court with, much to his mother's chagrin. Edward is an alpha recently returned from time abroad, a fresh face to society, and has a father who won't stop bothering him about finding a mate of high social standing.
Although they both find the other to be vaguely insufferable, they do have one thing in common, and it's enough for them to make a truce: surely a few months of pretend courting will be enough for their parents to leave well enough alone, and they can seek out other matches with nobody breathing down their necks in the meantime.
