Welcome to my headcanon, this was another strange idea I think will hit home!
Headcanon: Astro Kitty is the popular kid in school with a heart of glass, and Astro Boy is the least Popular kid in school, but nobody would expect the two to hang out... (Minor AU! School life.)

RING RING RING!
I looked up at the bell and saw that it was already time for my next class. Panicked, I looked around and saw Astro Boy sitting next to me--- Doing his normal things all cute... He just looked at me, and I couldn't help but blush.
It was like everything Astro Boy did, I would also do. Every time he looked up, I looked up. Every time he read a book, I read a book. It's like there's some charm, making him so hot... Just enough to win over my glass heart.
"I just want him to acknowledge me..." My thoughts circled in my mind, "He's so masculine, I just want to--- hug him."
I got up from my desk and excused the thoughts in my head. I couldn't really have dated him anyways, since the school barely knew who he was. Everybody knew me, and it got pretty boring quick. Despite my constant awards and sporting skills, nobody mattered to me anymore but my Astro Boy.
As I walked down the school hall, adjusting my golden belt and backpack along the way. Everybody stopped by to say hi to me. Some even had the audacity to talk to me, which- I brushed them all off pretty quickly. Heh.
"Alright, I know Astro Boy hangs out at the school cafeteria with his friend every lunch. Maybe this time I can just gather the courage to say hello..." I said to myself, sitting down on an empty bench.
I hid my blush as the school kids walked past me, and felt my glass heart. I thought of Astro Boy more and more as I waited for the passing period to end. I can't believe I'm going to talk to him... I thought as my heart started beating faster and faster. I really needed to wait patiently on the situation before it started affecting my thoughts...
I pulled out a small mirror, admiring myself until the bell rang again. And I stood up, scratching my furry head as I made my way to the lunch room. I'm so nervous...
