Summary
"No matter how bad things get out there, the birds will keep on singing."
A history teacher by trade, Alicia de Leon was not prepared for when the world crumbled around her ears and the dead started walking. Being blind certainly hasn't helped matters either. To survive in this world, she will have to rely on her wits, on the kindness of others and a large helping of luck but at the end of the day, de Leon's get it done.
Full disclosure, this started as a little writing exercise to see if I could tell a good story without relying on visually describing everything. This is my first published fic and it's blown up into being waaaaaay longer and intense than I thought, so come along for the ride!
