Jisung just present as an alpha. Everyone started to treat him different. The alpha's will teach him how to be a true alpha. The betas only smile at him. The omegas stay away from him. They all changed and he doesn't understand.
When he asked his alpha Hyung, they will only smile and said "You will understand it, Ji"
Jisung frowned. Why can't alpha be soft? Why can't alpha touch people too much? He only got a simple answer. "Alpha is born like that" But why can't he feel like that too?
"Hyung!" Jisung smile and sit beside his Omega Hyung, Donghyuck. "Oh, hi Ji" Donghyuck smile slightly at him before turning back to the television.
"Where's the others?" Jisung asked, also focusing on the television. "Some of them going out" Donghyuck replied short.
"It's been a long time since we watched this show together, Hyung" The maknae grinned happily. Donghyuck glance at him and smile plainly.
After a while, Jisung lied his head on the omega's shoulder but his head was quickly pushed. He look shockingly at his Hyung.
"Hyung...?" He asked in disbelief. Donghyuck look at him in sorry but also.... Disgust? The omega sighed.
"Sorry, Jisung, but please understand that you're an alpha. We're different" He stood up and walked away. Leaving the maknae alone.
Jisung frowned at the action and hurtful words but he can't say anything. If he did, his alpha's leader will get angry at him.
He just sit there silently while watching the television. After a while, it makes him more boring so he walk back to his room.
He lied down on the bed with a sighed. He just presented himself about a month ago but the difference makes him feel slightly missing the old moment.
The door then was opened and Jisung glance before smiling. "Chenle, come here" He smile at the chinese guy. The older guy smile and close the door, running to Jisung. Hugging him tightly
"Ji, you miss me?" The maknae only laughed at the mocking words. "Lele, you only goes to radio station for an hour and half"
Chenle laughed before snuggling onto the guy's neck. "Did something happen, Ji?" He asked after sensing the maknae's muteness.
"It's just that... The usual things..." Jisung muttered and buried his head on the chinese's hair. Chenle smile guiltily at him.
"Aww... I should come more early" He said and give a peck on the guy's cheek. Jisung giggled. "It's fine but... Why can't alpha start a skinship first?... Is it a big shame for alpha?" He said sadly.
Chenle look at him with a frowned. "Ji, that's fine. You don't need to care about the alpha and omega shit tradition with me. There will be no obstacles for us. I will make sure of it so go ahead. Complain all you want to me. Touch me all you want. Cry everytime you had a hard time. I will be there"
Jisung smile in delight before hugging the omega's tight. "Thank you. I am so happy you will be there for me"
But he doesn't know the words will become like this.
"JISUNG, FUCK OFF!!" Johnny pushed the maknae's harshly towards the floor, running to the breathless omega.
Jisung was still in daze, shock and also fear. Why? What just happened? Why did this happen? Is it because of his greed? Why does Chenle got his heat when he just got it last month? Is it because he suddenly brushed his nose against the omega's scent glands?
Renjun hold Chenle carefully on his arms and instruct Mark to bring the smaller guy onto the heat's room. Luckily the alpha is immune to the scent.
Taeyong who tried to calm the omegas turn to Jisung with a hardened look. "Jisung Park, you're grounded inside your room for one week" He said with a hard stare and harsh voice.
Jisung widened eyes become lower and he stood up, strolling to his room without any hesitation. He get inside the room and locked the door.
He slide down the door and grip his knees with his shaky hands. His breath was unstable and his mind keep repeating the same scenes.
You shouldn't do that. You're an alpha.
Omega and Alpha is different, Jisung.
Jisung, this is a serious matter. Never follow your needs.
Jisung regretted it. He regret telling everything to Chenle. He should just keep it to himself. He can't never be close to an omega. He also couldn't never be like an alpha. He shouldn't be here.
It's been one week. His grounded schedule is finished and probably the same with Chenle's heat but he only stay inside his room.
Everytime he walked outside the room, everyone will stare at him. Hesitantly. Sternly. Fear. He can't bear that looks. It is scary.
He was playing with his online game on his phone when the door suddenly opened. He glance and stopped.
"Hey, Ji" Chenle smile normally, like nothing happens. He walk towards the maknae. "What you're playing? You don't want to let me join?" He asked and instinctively put his hand on the alpha's shoulder.
Jisung flinched and let go of his phone. He back away with widen eyes, Chenle looks at him in shocked. "Ji?" Jisung flinched again and quickly turn his face away.
"Le— Chenle, let's not talk for now, okay? I need some space" He laughed awkwardly without showing his face. His body unknowingly shaking and sweat dripping from his forehead.
Chenle realise his condition. He decided to give the maknae's some space because he knows, if he force him, the alpha will have an panic attack.
The omega smile. "Alright. Take care of yourself, okay? Don't forget to eat" He walked out and right after he shut the door, Jisung let out a harsh breath which he doesn't know he was holding.
He wants to hug the guy right after seeing his face. He want to be clingy to his touch. He wants.
Jisung widen his eyes and shook his head in fast pace. No! Never follow your needs! He stare dazely into nothing on his thoughts. Tears started running down.
He quickly wipe it away. Alpha can't cry. Alpha can't be scared. Alpha can't be clingy. Alpha should be confident. Alpha should be brave. Alpha— Alpha— Alpha—
Jisung clutch his head and shut his eyes in pain. He sobbed silently. He is crying. He is scared. He wants to hug someone and cuddle. He is not confident alone. He is not brave. He is not a true alpha.
5 days. It's been 5 days since he has that thought. Every day, every hour, every minute, every second, he have this thought in his head.
He sit on the couch in the living room, blankly staring on the television. He was in daze even when a figure sit beside him.
"Ji" Jisung flinched and looks at the voice. "Chenle?" He asked with his hoarse voice. Chenle looks at him worriedly and hold the guy's hand. "You okay?"
Is he okay? No. Of course he is not. Jisung's tears started running down. His body is shaking nonstop. His breathing become heavy. His eyes is not focusing. His alpha's tobacco caramel scent changed to a burnt wood smell that is too strong.
Chenle widen his eyes and he know this is serious. "Jisung, I will call for the hyungs so please take a deep breath until then, okay?" Jisung doesn't answer him. His head is ringing with a weird noise.
Chenle cursed silently. Most of the hyungs is outside expect for... Johnny Hyung. He runned off to the older alpha's bedroom and open it harshly. The alpha was sleeping. He felt sorry to wake the tired guy but this is serious.
"Hyung! Wake up!" He shouted and shake the body. Johnny groaned and sit up, sensing the omega's sensitive scent. "What happe—" Johnny froze when he smell the burnt scent and pushed himself off the bed. He started running to the living room while Chenle followed from behind.
"Chenle, don't come here! Go to Kun's room and tell him to call for emergency!" Johnny quickly gives instructions while holding the young alpha's shaking body. He is unconscious.
Kun take action right away after Chenle tell him Johnny's order. The beta also tried to calmed the omega.
The scene happens so fast. The nurses and doctors put Jisung on the stroller bed, with an oxygen mask, and bring him inside the emergency room. Johnny is there to witness all of it.
"What happened to him?" Taeyong asked the doctor with a calm tone. He quickly finished all his business after hearing about the maknae's situation.
"His condition seems bad. He will need to go to a surgery so we can fix his alpha system but only physically"
"What do you mean, doc?" Jaehyun asked. "His alpha's mentality rejected him. His alpha's side is destroyed. It seems that because of him being forced to follow things that his body and alpha's side hates" The doctor explained.
It clicked on them.
"Is he... The rare alpha's type?" Taeyong said in hesitation. "Yes, he is the alpha that acts like an omega. It is not weird because it is special"
"Ah... That's why he is very different" Jaehyun whisper.
"I understand that it is weird for all of you but this is his real self. You can't change it" The doctor said sternly. "What can we do for him to be normal again?" Johnny asked.
"He should see therapist until he is better. A long rest is also need for the recovery. Don't forget to treat him like he wants. Don't force him. I will go now. The surgery will be in two days" The doctor bowed and left.
The three alphas walk to Jisung's hospital bed, the nurses is checking on his vital and IV drip. "I will do the next checkup in two hours" The nurse said and walked away.
Taeyong sit beside Jisung's bed on the chair. "Ji.." He hold the maknae's hand. His face is very pale. The eyebags also dark.
"I'm sorry" The older guy muttered. Johnny and Jaehyun also look guilty. "Hyung...?"
Taeyong look towards the voice with widen eyes. "Ji! You're awake! Are you okay? Do you need me to call the nurse?' He asked panickedly and Johnny patted his shoulder lightly.
"Ji, are you feeling any pain?" He asked calmly. Jisung eyes still is unfocused but he seems to heard it because he nodded.
"Okay... I will explain it to you about your condition" Johnny ruffled his head gently.
After explaining, Jisung look at them with a surprise look. "I didn't know that... I thought it is just my greed" He muttered.
Jaehyun clench his hand gently. "We're sorry. We force you and got angry at you. We're so sorry" He said and all of them look at him in despair.
Jisung only smile slightly. "It's okay. All of us doesn't know about my condition" "But we should realize earlier..." Taeyong said apologetically.
"I'm okay. You can repay me with something else. Like a hug after I heal" The maknae smile slightly. The hyungs only smile sadly at him.
"But therapy is scary..." Jisung whimpering in pain. "We will be with you, Ji. Don't worry" Taeyong said and hold his hand gently.
"Will you?" The maknae look at him hopefully and what answered him was a smile and words of affirmation.
It's been 3 months. Jisung scar from the surgery is fading, luckily. The therapy also going well and he started recovering. His alpha's side start to become normal again.
Jisung sit on the couch while watching the tv alone, humming without any reason. "Ji, what are you doing here alone?" The familiar voice, Chenle, asked and sit beside the guy.
"I just need space. Everyone is clingy to me after a long time that it's feel awkward" Jisung answered while still looking at the tv.
"I should go then" Chenle pouted and stand up. Jisung look towards him. "No, sit here" He said and automatically the Chinese guy sit back down.
"Come here" Jisung open his arms with a smile. Chenle happily hugged him tightly. The maknae patted the guy's head. He takes notice of the patch on his scent glands.
Jisung know that Chenle also feel guilty and also responsible. But he himself said to Chenle that if the Chinese guy want to touch him, he need to wear a patch. Luckily, Chenle understand his intentions.
"I miss cuddling with you. Only us" Chenle muttered on the alpha's neck. Jisung hummed softly.
"I still feel uncomfortable" The maknae suddenly said and Chenle flinched, trying to pull away but Jisung grip him more tightly.
"But I feel happy. I am happy after a long time. Everyone is kind to me. They wait patiently for me so I am grateful. I wish I can be like this with all of you more" Jisung give a big smile.
Chenle's eyes become teary and he buried his head onto the guy shoulder. "I will make sure of it, Ji. I will protect you" He muttered.
"What's this? Are you guys cuddling without me?" A voice suddenly interrupt their cuddling session. Jisung look towards his Hyung.
"You want to join, Jaemin Hyung?" He asked. Jaemin only smile and jump on them. "Of course, is that even a question?!" He giggle and give a peck on both of the maknae's cheeks.
Jisung and Chenle groaned but chuckled at the same time. The alpha's maknae get to know that most of the members have to restrict themselves from touching the alpha because the leader orders them to make Jisung normalize his secondary gender.
But I guess it's just bring a bad news so they don't restrict themselves anymore and be clingy to the maknae.
"Ah! I want to join too!!" Donghyuck appear and jump on them. Chenle shrieked in surprised. Jisung only huffed.
"Can I join?" Jeno asked kindly after seeing them. Jaemin nodded and pulled the guy towards him. "Me too!" Renjun hurriedly said to hug Chenle.
"Without me? Wow, I feel betrayed" Mark laughed and patted Jisung's head before giving a peck on top of his crown head.
After all they feel complete as nct dream. Not as their secondary gender or their background.
