DON'T CROSS THIS LINE, with your quirk

Summary:

All for One spoke uncharacteristically devoid of an evil tone for a few moments. “Alright, I’ll tell you. They didn’t call me One or All the hero for nothing. Here you go.”

It changed in moments as Aizawa’s hand reached out carefully for the hourglass, an unmistaken huff released from his lips when All for One snatched it back childishly. Izuku had seen that look almost every day.

“They didn’t call me One for All the hero, they called me All for One the greatest and oldest supervillain alive who kills whoever doesn’t give All for One exactly what he wants in the moment that he wanted.”

Listen All for One just wanted his son back, having a little fun along the way was just a bonus.

Work Text:

“Great and I will release what I want to release at the exact moment I want to release it. Okay?”

Izuku had been having a day. A week. Let's call it a month. First, he found out his father was All for One, second UA found out and put him in a room, and thirdly gave him access to every camera and microphone in the building.

He had seen the anger and passive aggression build in his normally stoic teacher, and Izuku thinks that All for One stepping into UA and demanding Izuku was the last straw. He had never seen Aizawa like this before. They were standing outside his door, and by the looks of it, bickering.

“Tell me the combination and give me that key right now, or I shall kill all of your friends. Starting with the little shaggy-headed little demon boy here.”

Oh yes, and Izuku can’t forget that his loving father had placed all his friends and mentors in small hour glasses. And was holding Kacchan like a treat for Aizawa to bat at like a cat.

Not that Kacchan would ever allow himself to go quietly.

“I aint shaggy headed, hobo let me take this guy!”

All for One quickly shook the hourglass, letting it fill up more, and subsequently pouring more sand into Kacchan’s mouth. Preventing him from speaking. Finally. Even though he was neck deep in sand, Kacchan didn’t give up.

Aizawa gave Kacchan a smirk, he was enjoying his last few moments outside of a glass jar, Izuku could just tell. “Don’t worry I got this handled. You don’t want to give me my friends. Then you’re not going to get the combination of your key.”

All for One spoke uncharacteristically devoid of an evil tone for a few moments. “Alright, I’ll tell you. They didn’t call me One or All the hero for nothing. Here you go.” His face was almost kind and serene.

For the record that was entirely false, Izuku had One for All.

Izuku and Aizawa’s eyes narrowed in disbelief as All for One stamped his foot into the ground in frustration. His fury shook the hour glass even more.

“Which is right now. When I had also better get the combination and the key.”

Aizawa’s face, Izuku could see in the camera, as he lent his hip against the wall his hand still flat in a way that said ‘gimme’, was borderline amused. His eyebrow, however, was very much judgemental.

Which is probably why he looked amused, they were two very close emotions for the man.

“That’s what they called you?”

“It was shorter in English.”

They stared at each other for a few moments. Aizawa shrugged and dropped his hand, resettling at the wall with his arms crossed in front of him.

“Great, well, I'll give you the combination after you give him back.”

Izuku could not believe what he saw, he reached out and nearly brushed against the glass jar. The peaceful moment crashing to the ground as All for One drew himself to his full height. Izuku dropped back into the chair in awe at his teacher.

“How dare you! If you touch that again I shall kill you right now. Do not touch this.”

His hand moved in a decidedly threatening motion and Izuku nearly threw himself at the cameras before he realised it was to draw a line in front of him, still holding a staring contest with Aizawa, who didn’t even have his quirk on!

“This is a 'No-Touching' zone!”

“Good, well, then...”

“Oh my GOD!” He knocked Aizawa’s hand down with his own, in a move that reminded Izuku of Tenya. This was  very strange. If All for One was so angry, why not attack Aizawa and use a quirk to get the combination or to just break the door down. Very strange. “I can't believe you reached across like that again! I can't even believe it! Oh, God! I want to kill you right now! If you didn't know this combination, you would be so dead right now, it would be unbelievable!”

Aizawa shrugged, settling into his calm and steady pose again. Still in the face of the boiling, and amusing, rage in front of him. Izuku wondered how he did it, how he was still alive, and if this was a skill he could be able to learn.

The gestures, the movements, was All for One, enjoying himself? Izuku had not known the man to be so flamboyant. Izuku even believed he noticed a lisp in his fathers deep cadence.

Aizawa was absolutly shitting his pants. He did not know how he was alive, let alone how he still had a tounge or conciousness. It wasn’t like the supervillain was amused by him and keeping him alive due to his word play and ability to go toe to toe with him vocally.

He just kept on blurting out the first thing that comes to mind.

And well he wasn’t dead yet, so if the boot fits.

“Great, well, I do know the combination...” and he reached.

Only to be cut off immediately. The hands coming back, great. Aizawa kept a close eye on them, he wouldn’t put it past the man to use them as a distraction. “DON'T CROSS THIS LINE with your hand!”

Going to ask if they were a distraction, hopefully bringing the enraged supervillain from the subject that would most likely bring forth his demise. He opened his mouth, and immediately slamming it shut with an audiable plop when All for One began raging again.

Yep, it was very much likely Aizawa would die. But it would be doing something he loved. Sassing villains until they popped a blood vessle.

“How dare you! If you speak again,” Aizawa opened his mouth just to see what he would do, and it did not disappoint, “if you SPEAK AGAIN, I'm going to kill you! Do you understand this? Don't say it!”

“I wasn’t saying-”

“Oh, God I see you getting ready! Oh, my GOD! Don't say anything! I shall murder you if you talk again. Now, give me that key and tell me the combination.”

Aizawa reached forward, in what he might call a supermove if he were a limelight hero, and began to speak, again.

“Alright, after you give me Jed and release my friends.”

A look of such alarming greatness rose in All for One’s face as Aizawa did the two things he was told not to. Gearing up for another rise in volume as All for One grew even madder.

“You did all three!” THREE? Aizawa’s felt his eye brows scrunch together, there were three things?  “You spoke and you reached your hand across!”

Ah no, All for One was just stupid. Aizawa hoped Izuku was ok in there, but he supposed that this would be rather amusing from the outside.

“Look, I can talk to you about this all night!”

“How about this? How about I DON'T kill you, like I really, really want to, and I give you precisely five seconds to hand over that Key and tell me the combination?”

All for One was loving every second of this! It had been too long before he had someone he could go toe to toe with vocally like this. He hadn’t let his emotions get the better of him like this is years! It was exhilarating! He liked this Aizawa, he could definatly stay in the vault with Izuku and the children. He had shown himself to be a true hero, like Yoichi, and protector of children, like him!

All for One would love to see him keep on helping Izuku grow! Now all he needed was that key and combination and a way to stop him from using his quirk while he went to sleep or into a jar.

Then it would be perfect!

“We already got the combination! It's pi. 3.14159265! This little guy sang. Oh did he sing? Like a canary!”

Tomura came around the corner, with the little child in Izuku’s class with the balls on his head dangling from his hand and blubbering.

Aizawa sighed again, All for One had to agree, there was a reason he didn’t include that one in the class! Well he guessed fun was over, and Tomura would be a good distraction for Aizawa, either before they got Izuku out, or to knock him out.

All for One stepped forward.
