Izuku and Bakugou somehow broke Inko Midoriya's expensive washing machine, which she got the money from a very guilty Hisashi Midoriya after re-initiating contact after a decade, and she decided that as one last boon for her (nearly) ex-husband she would send Izuku to see him one last time.
She doesn't know he is not the wettest businessman known to humanity, but in fact the boogie man All for One. Who got back into contact with his family because he thought that now One for All is in his family again he could take it easily.

Chisaki Kai needed a test subject.
Eri was starting to bore him and his work. It was the same result every time, and nothing was changing. There needed to be a baseline for what they were rewinding too. A perfect example of human normality.
He watched the little parasite through the cut, clear, one-way glass into her room. She was very small; it was rather annoying.
Reading the file in front of him, the visage of a green-haired middle school student, and felt like all his prayers had been answered.
A supposed quirkless nobody with what seemed like one friend, a school that was trying desperately to get rid of him, and no one to care for him, no one that would be able to stop him in time. Even if Kai knew the truth of All for One and who and what that creature was, it was easy to see that the boy was not the best protected, nor the most loved. He was the perfect subject.

It changed in moments as Aizawa’s hand reached out carefully for the hourglass, an unmistaken huff released from his lips when All for One snatched it back childishly. Izuku had seen that look almost every day.
“They didn’t call me One for All the hero, they called me All for One the greatest and oldest supervillain alive who kills whoever doesn’t give All for One exactly what he wants in the moment that he wanted.”
Listen All for One just wanted his son back, having a little fun along the way was just a bonus.

He had his quirk to keep him warm, and the overworn memory of his mother and brother. Connections were fleeting, and love was a fairytale in the society underneath the boots of the HSPC, and he would not know peace or love until they were gone.
But Inko Midoriya was an interesting woman.
They say love and hate are the two sides of the same coin.
