    Before I can speak, she’s pulling my head down and we’re kissing. I shudder against her. She’s soft and warm like sunlight and then I’m wrapping my hand around the back of her neck, pulling her closer by her hip with my other hand, and God, she’s everything.

    There’s a whoosh, and I have her back against a tree, pressed between me and the bark, and I’m not sure which is harder — the tree behind her or me.
