Little Nayeon has always dreamed of a New Year's miracle.

It was as if she had woken up and found something unusual, fabulous near the decorated Christmas tree - so much so that it took her breath away! She would have run to her mom, pulling her by the hand, and asked her to follow her. And when they were in the living room, everything disappeared!

All because adults no longer believed in fairy tales and considered a miracle a miracle. Something so unreal, an invention, as if they were not children at all and had never dreamed or fantasized. They completely lacked the expectation of a fairy tale, real magic, so adults were mostly in an aggressive, dissatisfied and sad state all the time.

It was worth just opening the door to a fairy tale — and life would have changed dramatically.

Nayeon did not understand this and continued to dream. And one night she heard voices…

"...I told you carefully, Minnie".

"You're Santa's minion, not me, Soyeon".

Nayeon on raised her head a little and noticed how the little fairy was fluttering around her toy Christmas tree and trying to put a big gift. While elf was insuring everything from below, not wanting to drop the gift.

"If you don't make it, then I'll be flattened", elf muttered and frowned. Her blonde hair was gathered into a neat low ponytail, her ears were pointed, and her height was so tiny that little Nayeon immediately wanted to touch her. Well, and then there's the fairy.

The multicolored wings shimmered in the moonlight, and the small wand with which Minnie controlled the "transportation" of the gift was barely noticeable. But Nayeon saw everything and smiled broadly.

Ah, the little prankster forgot that she had to stay in the shadows, so she was very scared when she was suddenly addressed.

"Nayeon-yi should be asleep already!" said one of the magical creatures.

"Otherwise we won't come to visit Nayeon-yi anymore!"  Soyeon added and put her hands on her sides, tapping her foot with displeasure.

"Okay, I get it!" the girl giggled and lay back down in the crib, covering her eyes just for show.

She was quiet, as if she was a real hunter, but the creatures knew what was what. She came to the children so often that they learned the manner of their behavior.

"Do you think she fell asleep?" the pink—haired woman asked after a while, waving her wand and putting the gift in its rightful place. A drop of magic pollen fell on her, so Minnie increased in size — now she was the height of an ordinary girl, as if she were a person.

"Now she's definitely sleeping", Soyeon also became much taller and came closer to Minnie.

She looked at Nayeon sleeping soundly and conjured something with her wand - only the best, of course. Jeon hugged the fairy from behind and smiled broadly. She liked what she and Minnie were doing. She also liked Minnie herself.

In magic circles, the friendship between an elf and a fairy is unique, the most real unreality, but they both proved to everyone how much everyone around could be wrong.

And when Nayeon grows up to the point that she will start her own family, the first thing she will tell her daughter about magical adventures, leaving a place in her heart for a real miracle. She will see Soyeon and Minnie all the time, even show them to the children.

Nayeon will be the pride of Soyeon and Minnie — and that's the main thing, right?
