Vanessa stared blindly at the hockey game down below, lost in thought. She was wearing a thick faux fur coat. Rich purple spikes with white tips adorned her frame. Her hood was up, and a scarf wrapped around her covered her breath. She ran her gloved hands on her furry sleeves, hugging herself.
She was jolted out of her thoughts when the kiss cam was announced. Vanessa looked up at the screen, her smoky breath rising. A red frame wrapped around the image, little white and pink hearts floating around.
The first couple kissed. They were cute. The second and third followed. Fourth, fifth, until she saw herself staring at a deep purple coat. She stared at the empty seat beside her, thinking about him and why he was not here and-
"Why are y'all taking so long?!" A guy sitting behind Vanessa almost screamed, leaning down. She could see the way he reached into the frame. "Come on, man!" He slapped a man's shoulder. He sat at Vanessa's other side. Startled, she looked at him, their gazes meeting. Green and black.
For a moment she was so enraptured with his eyes she almost didn't notice the rest of him. His skin was so so white, it almost blended itself with his white hoodie. He had sleek black hair and such a beautiful smile. Vanessa Bloom awkwardly smiled back. That kind of smile that only lifts one side of your face, a kind of split cringe. She blushed.
"I- would you like to?" She leaned in. Just a bit, a centimeter or half. His stare, it bore into her soul, his unmoving face showing no expression, not even barely or a bit.
Suddenly, he leaned in, more than a centimeter or half he went all the way into her warm face, his white as paper hand cradled her jaw delicately. His thumb stroked her red as cherry cheek as his lack of lips met hers in a kiss. It was almost electric, the way a warmth seemed to switch on inside Vanessa's bowels. She closed her eyes as he stared, finally returning the kiss. Vanessa landed her hands on the man's chest. She could feel his pectorals were not quite firm. They were connected to wide shoulders and a slightly hunched back. She could feel his protuberant shoulder blades and vertebrae. Her nose was mashed against his skin, his face feeling like leather.
All around them the crowd whistled.
Some infinite time later, they both fell apart like kinetic sand; softly. Her lips were wet, rose dusty pink full of juices. A clear strand connected their faces, her half lidded eyes lazy with passion. Vanessa's breath came as a hard sigh.
"Hi..." She whispered. His wide stare trained on her, he answered, hand stroking her brown hair.
"My van is in the parking lot. Do you want-"
"Yes."
