"Happy Birthday," Bakugou said, handing Uraraka a cupcake.
"Uh, thanks but it's not my birthday." Uraraka chuckled awkwardly, then gestured to a couple balloons around the common area. "It's Todoroki's birthday though. Maybe he'd like it?"
"Your birthday was a couple weeks ago. Just take it."
"But--you made me dinner for my birthday."
"You're giving Uraraka Todoroki's birthday cupcake?" Kaminari asked from afar. "That's low, man."
"That's not what's happening!" Bakugou shouted at him. He held out the cupcake to Uraraka again. "Take it!"
"I want a cupcake," Kirishima interjected.
"No! I only have one!"
"Why not eat it yourself then?" Uraraka asked.
"Because I don't want it!"
"Why do you even have a singular cupcake that isn't for Todoroki on his birthday?" Kaminari asked.
"Oh, he probably saw it at the bakery and thought of her," Kirishima realized.
"You thought of me?" Uraraka asked shyly. Bakugou blushed.
"That's not at all what happened. Kirishima doesn't know what he's talking about," Bakugou said, then threw a threatening look in Kirishima's direction. "But if you don't want it maybe I will give it to Icy-Hot."
At that moment, Todoroki exited the elevator chatting with Deku. They both stopped short when Bakugou practically shoved the cupcake in Todoroki's hand.
"Happy Fucking Birthday," Bakugou snapped. He headed into the elevator and punched the button to force the doors shut.
"Thank you," Todoroki said, blankly staring at the dessert. "That was...nice."
"Wow, Kacchan gave you a cupcake? And it's red and white like you," Deku said, then laughed and patted Todoroki's arm. "You know, that's always how he's shown he cares about someone. He gives them food!"
Kirishima and Kaminari made eye contact with Uraraka who hid her face in her hands. They did their best to hide their fit of giggles as Uraraka tried to escape to her room.
"Oh, Uraraka," Todoroki said as she passed him. "Strawberry Vanilla is your favorite. Do you want some?"
"No, thanks," Uraraka squeaked. "It's all yours. Happy Birthday!"
