Iida speaks softly as he helps Shouto stand from the sofa, wrapping his arms around his shoulders.
"At least text me when you get home safely."
Shouto practically melts into the embrace, his still-weak arms pressing against the fabric resting over Iida's lower back. He closes his eyes, feeling more cherished than he's been in years.
Iida's arms are a comforting weight around his mildly frostbitten body, warm and strong. Shouto presses more firmly into him, close and snug as they hug in the hospital lobby.
He doesn't want to let go.
OR
Shouto is disabled after his final battle with Touya, making his body constantly cold. Iida makes sure he's warm.

Summary
Kaeya's sprawled on Childe’s bed with a textbook when he randomly decides to ask him what he’s doing for Christmas. Childe is sitting on the wooden floor with a bunch of torn flashcards and he looks up at Kaeya, one eyebrow raised in surprise.
“I think I’m just going to crash Wriothesley’s Christmas dinner. His family’s pretty friendly and I’ve known them for ages. It sucks that I can’t go home, though. I’d love to see my family but I’m only flying there on New Year’s Day.”
Kaeya’s mind catches fire at the mere mention of Wriothesley’s name. He’s so unbelievably jealous that he can’t help but blurt out:
“You can come to mine, if you want.”
- in which Kaeya invites the guy he swears he's not dating to his family's Christmas dinner, just so he doesn't spend it with his ex. Who he's not jealous of, by the way.

Really, it’s remarkable that Kokichi still seems so happy, what with how much Kaede has been pulling him back this whole time. If he were hiking alone, or perhaps accompanied by someone more physically able, he’d probably have finished the trail by now. The resulting reflection upon Kaede’s own importance to him is not lost on her, it must be said, but also… Frankly, Kaede is just having a hard time wrapping her mind around it. Kokichi is so… agile. He really does make it look like conquering trails like this is no big deal. Isn’t he feeling impatient yet?
“Ka-e-de,” Kokichi singsongs. “You’re making that face again.”
“What,” Kaede huffs, face burning more from exertion than embarrassment at getting “caught out”, “what face?”
Kokichi does what Kaede can only assume is his best impression of her current expression, scrunching up his eyebrows and pressing his lips together so the edges curl in. Visible dissatisfaction and uncertainty. Kaede can’t imagine it’s a flattering look on her own face and tries very hard to replace it.
