Chapter Text
After much consideration, Aspen and I have decided to not only pick Forever Constant back up (after our unannounced hiatus...) but we will be deleting all of the chapters and rewriting them to be more consistent. Along with a bit more... drama... Look forward to it and please read it as you go! Because some details (most...) will be changed! Thank you for being patient with us!
Forever Constant was a passion project for us (and still is!) but as with passion projects, sometimes that passion fades for a while and inspiration gets lost, like we did unfortunately along the way while writing this. We had written many chapters in advance, only to go back and want to redo a good half of the project after realizing that a lot of the content of those written chapters really just didn't make sense for the plot we had in mind. So when going back to rewrite, we got lost in the process as we struggled to put together a cohesive plot with elements we had already created along with new ones.
In the end, the confusion we gave ourselves resulted in us losing interest in the project altogether and we moved onto other written projects alongside it, fleeting stuff that will likely never see the light of day, and we've finally decided to revisit the concept of 'Forever Constant' and start over with plans we didn't have when we began this originally. We love this work, and it sparked our mutual love for Ike and Eki, and we'd like to do it justice.
So, in the near future, we'll begin uploading the new chapters, and once we've gotten a few uploaded, this note will be deleted, in ~a month or so. I'm sure the sudden deletion of the contents of a work can be confusing to anyone looking back for it, so it'll be here for a bit longer until we're properly situated.
