Summary
"Hey, darling." Vox tries to start the conversation, a teasing tone in his voice. Ike isn't buying it though as he stays silent.
They both stand in silence, under the scorching hot sunlight. None of them wants to start. It's like a weight on their stomach.
"The pistol matches your mittens."
Vox comments, and Ike looks toward the gift in Vox's hand. The washed out green is ugly looking, and the gun glistens reflecting the sunlight. As if it's mocking their fate.
"I'll bake some cookies, then." Ike whispers.
It doesn't suit you at all, Ike thought to himself.
Or, Vox leaves for the war, and Ike prays for his safe return.

Summary
That is how it goes for the whole week. Whether it suddenly rains and he doesn't bring his umbrella, forgetting to bring his assignment when it's due by the same day, or how his chicken wings are soggy looking and cold inside because the microwave broke when he was trying to heat it up. His best friend has been down with fever for almost a week, and his best friend's so-called-boyfriend is also down with his illness. So he sits alone eating the chicken wings while being stared at by his peers.
Every time he returns home, his 'I'm home' is never replied. Only the darkness of the living room and silence greets him with an unspoken loneliness.
But Shu holds it all in. Tomorrow will be a better day, is what he always thinks. It will pass, he doesn't need to cry like a baby from all of these.
Having bad week, what Shu needed was lunch box to fill his empty stomach and lonely heart.

He learned how to describe.
A figure reflected by the mirror. Pale skin, hair that fades to red by the tips, and olive colored eyes with a hint of red by the top.
Someone sitting by the sofa, a smile so delicate. Like the flower blooming beautifully by his window side. A pair of olive colored eyes that gazes at him warmly.
He described what he saw. His surroundings, himself, and Ike.
"Good morning, Eki."
Eki, his name. Three words. Four syllables.
"Good morning… Ike."
Ike, his creator.
From the moment he was brought into the world, Eki continues to learn for every single day. To breathe, to eat, to talk, and to say hello to Ike. Ike, the one who knows everything.
Or, where Eki was manifested from Ike's consciousness.

"Just checking how you are doing." Vox shrugged, stating it lazily as if it is the most obvious thing. "Making sure you're still alive, Mr. Novelist."
"Oh, shut it." Ike only shook his head, scoffing as he shaked his head slightly. He placed down his now empty mug beside the flask bottle. "Because you didn't see the lights in my room are turned off, which means you didn't go to sleep either, Vox." His thumb gestured at the clock pointing to two past sixteen in the morning. "In the early morning."
"Heh, touchè."
Ike's next door neighbor, Vox, decided he will crash in for an impromptu sleepover in early morning.

Summary
He already put in all of his effort. Crawling out from his bed after finding himself unable to sleep as he tossed and turned on his bed. Actually buttoned up his pyjamas properly, and gathered his strength to leave his room and walked down the stairs to finally arrive at the kitchen for something to snack on. But there's nothing, not even cereal or bread, it's only a bunch of raw ingredients that certainly cannot be eaten raw.
Mysta glanced at the hanging pots and pans. Bunch of knives, a pair of kitchen scissors, some nice spatulas, it all looked so shiny and brand new. He remembers vividly when Vox rambled about each usage of the pans ("This one is a normal pan, that one is the non-stick pan, and this is a mini pan—"). God, he needs to cook, doesn't he?
…Guess those won't be brand new anymore.
Mysta woke up early and hungry, so he cooked up some pancake for breakfast on his second day in Luxiem's shared house.
