Work Text:
Oliver Queen walked into the STAR Labs warehouse they had been using to gather their fellow heroes for the Dominator invasion.
He couldn’t help but note, looking at the team currently assembled, they were outmanned. Not just that, they were outgunned. Even with Kara’s powers, it was still not enough. The Dominators outmanned and outgunned them a thousand to one.
But… who could they call upon? Maybe Kara’s cousin from her Earth? Constantine?
Even then, it still wouldn’t be enough. Not nearly enough.
“Hey, you good man?” Barry asked, looking at the Archer in concern.
“I’m fine, Barry. Just… thinking how outgunned we are.” Oliver admitted. Barry sighed, realizing Oliver did have a point.
“Yeah but… who can we call?” Barry asked.
“That’s what I asked myself.” Oliver grumbled. “I have a few ideas but none of them are particularly good.”
“Um…” They turned to see Kara standing behind them, looking a bit awkward. “Sorry for eavesdropping but it’s just… I have an idea.”
Oliver and Barry shared a look before shrugging. Might as well hear her out. Might actually be a good idea, all things considered.
“Maybe… you broadcast a speech on live television, urging anyone who’d be willing to fight to do so.” Kara suggested. She immediately expected to be completely rejected and she could understand, especially for Oliver who reminded her very much of her cousin's friend from Gotham. Very focused, stoic and bussiness like but she knew he was a good man, just like Oliver. Even if their methods were a touch too brutal for her tastes. Especially Oliver's willingness to kill but she understood that for someone with no powers going up against multiple armed thugs with just a bow and quiver filled with a limited capacity for arrows, there were times were tough choices needed to be made.
Instead, she got contemplative looks from them, though Oliver’s was sourer.
“I don’t particularly like it…” Oliver started before looking as if he swallowed a very sour lemon. “But we might not have much of a choice.”
“So…” Barry said, clasping his hands. “Who gives the speech?”
One hour later…
Barry and Oliver stood in a camera, in full Flash and Green Arrow suits.
Iris was setting the camera up. She then looked at the two of them wondering if they were sure.
“Yes.” They both said with an air of finality that Iris did not want to question.
“We’re rolling in three… two… one, action!”
“This is Iris West of Central City news and I have Central City’s Scarlet Speedster along with Star City’s Emerald Archer, who wish to share a message to the world.” Iris passed the mic to Barry, but it was Oliver who grabbed it. He looked at the camera, taking a deep breath before he began to speak.
“To Everyone watching, there is an invasion coming. Of a group of aliens who will not stop until they have enslaved each and every one of us. We are asking those who hide in the shadows, hiding who you are in your bones, afraid of the scrutiny and judgement of the world, come out. For if that is what we will face, then we will face it together. I knew what I was doing the moment I put on this Hood. I knew the hate and scrutiny I’d get but the thing is… I don’t care. Neither should you. We put on these masks to save lives. To save and protect the innocent. The weak, those who can’t protect themselves from the vultures and scum who make their lives hard, who take their families and friends away from them. That is what we stand against. We urge you all, to anyone who is hiding, come out of the shadows and into the light. The time… to stand, to fight… the time is now.”
Iris, seeing it was a good place to end the speech, ended the broadcast.
“Wow, that was…” Every other hero who was in the Warehouse, surprised to at the man’s speech.
“Impressive.” Barry said, looking at his close friend with a slacked jaw.
“I just spoke from the heart.” Oliver shrugged. “That’s how the best speech come about.”
Metropolis
Clark Kent looked at the TV screen, feeling a stirring in his heart. A call… a call to action.
For nearly 30 years, he hid from the world, only revealing the truth of his heritage to, of the fact he was an alien of a dead planet, Krypton, to his parents (who had raised him, and he loved with all his heart and knew from the beginning), his girlfriend, Lois Lane and their close friend, Jimmy Olsen.
He had always wanted to do more but was afraid. Afraid of putting in dangers those he loved. His mother, who had just lost his father only a few months ago due to a heart attack, his girlfriend, his best friend and everyone else Clark cared about.
But… from the description they had given, the Dominators were coming.
“Clark?” Lois asked, seeing the contemplative expression in her boyfriend.
“I think… I think it's time, Lo.” Clark said. He had shared with Lois the idea of coming out of the shadows and into the light, to be a symbol of hope for Metropolis and the world. To represent truth, Justice and the true American way.
“Are you sure?” Lois asked, not against it but merely wanting to be sure.
“I’ve hidden for far too long.” Clark said, getting up and going into their bedroom. He grabbed a suitcase, opening it as it revealed a suit. One made of Kryptonian materials from the very secret Fortress of Solitude in the Artic.
Gotham City
Bruce Wayne was someone who liked to not be caught off guard but Green Arrow’s speech… well, that had spurred him.
He had retired a year ago from crime fighting (after a little over a decade) after the death of Jason Todd, his second adoptive son and third crime fighting partner, Robin, at the hands of the Joker, which Bruce snapped his neck for.
He had retired in shame along with refusing to allow his youngest adoptive son, Timothy Drake, to be Robin though he put him through a very similar regime in case anything happened to him.
Selina Kyle, his on and off girlfriend for many years, now mostly on, looked at Bruce, already knowing his decision.
“Dick’s down in the Cave, in case you’re wondering.” Selina said. Bruce got up from the couch and went to the grandfather clock, opening the entrance to the Batcave.
“B, what’s going?” Dick Grayson, his eldest son, asked. Bruce didn’t answer, removing a dust covered sheet, revealing the Batsuit.
Dick’s eyes widen in realization. He... never thought he'd see the old gargoyle putting on that suit again after he snapped the Joker's neck for his younger brother, his little wing's death for.
“You… you sure?” Dick asked.
“Yes.” Bruce said.
Gotham needed him. He will put aside his issues and biases for this.
“Call Barbara. Tell her to try and connect all the comm frequencies together.” Bruce ordered.
Dick shook his head.
“Somethings never change.” Dick muttered under his breath as he looked through his contacts on his phone and dialed up Barbara.
Coast City
Hal Jordan had just arrived from being in deep space for two months, exhausted, having dealt with an incursion on Rimbor. He was just as about to pass out in bed when he saw the news broadcast and the speech.
However, the invasion of slavers that he heard from the description Green Arrow gave him pause.
‘The dominators?’ Hal looked thoughtful before grinning like a mad man. ‘Always wanted to kick their teeth in. I hate slavers and anything like them.’
Carol was going to kill him after this but, duty calls.
He grabbed the Ring battery from his closest, placing his ring to recharge as it glowed.
Paris
Diana Prince opened the box, revealing her Greek armored attire.
She hadn’t suited up in years, ever since the end of the JSA and the death of Steve Trevor in WW2.
However, whatever biases she may have, whatever self-doubts she may have, they did not matter.
An invasion was coming. This was what she trained for on Themyscira by her Aunt Antiope and the rest of her Amazon sisters.
She was a daughter of Zeus but more importantly, an Amazon. She was here to help save mankind. It was time she did so once more.
Amnesty Bay
Arthur Curry looked at the screen at the bar he was in, looking almost… inspired. He had hidden himself for the most part from the outside world except Amnesty Bay, who knew he was 'the Aquaman of Amnesty Bay' but kept their mouths shut if bloggers or even government officials came sniffing around.
His father, Thomas Curry, knew what his son was thinking.
“Do it.” Thomas said, taking a sip of his beer.
“What?” Arthur asked, looking at his father in shock.
“Do it. Use what Vulko taught you. Be the ‘Aquaman’ of Amnesty Bay.” Thomas whispered the next part in his son’s ear. “Be the king of the seven seas.”
Arthur said nothing, merely chugging down his beer.
Still, if there was an invasion coming… he would fight it till his last breath. Both as a from the surface world
Washington DC
Colonel Calvin Swanwick looked… contemplative.
He knew that the Green Arrow spoke of the Dominators, having heard of them from across the stars.
After all, he was the last son of Mars, J’onn J’onzz.
He had hid it from the world in fear of what may happen to him but that didn’t matter anymore.
If they were coming to invade, he would fight them till his last breath. No world deserved to go through what his had gone through under the White Martians.
STAR labs warehouse
Oliver placed his bow on the desk, feeling a bit tired.
“Hell of a speech, mate.” He turned to see a familiar face, still wearing his usual trench coat.
“John Constantine.” Oliver said. The Warlock grinned.
“The one and only.” Constatine said. He sobered up. “Your little speech caused quite a stir. Got ears from Metropolis, Gotham, Paris and more that something or most likely some ones, are coming out of the woodwork.”
“And you’re here telling me this because…” Oliver trailed off.
“Because I’ll fight alongside you blokes. Plus, I brought a friend of mine.” John stepped aside, let a woman who wore a top hat, fishnets and a performers suit. “This is Zatanna Zatara, a homomagi. A very magically inclined type.”
“Mr. Queen.” Zatanna said, holding out her hand in greeting.
Oliver took it, shaking it politely.
“So, who else might show up?” Oliver asked.
“Maybe not show up here but they’ll definitely fight against those alien blokes. That I can assure you.”
Oliver nodded, motioning for all of them to follow him.
They entered the main hanger, seeing Barry, Kara, Sara, Jefferson, Martin Stein, Mick, Ray, Diggle, Felicity, Iris, Joe, Cisco, Wally, Thea, and Caitlin.
“Everyone!” Oliver shouted, earning their attention. “This is John Constantine, an acquaintance of mine and a friend of his, Zatanna Zatara.”
“Sorry but what’s a guy in a trench coat and a woman in fishnets and a top hat meant to do?” Ray asked, his voice laced with incredulity.
“Well mate, we’re the ones who usually help deal with more magical problems.” John said. “The kind of things your minds couldn’t handle as they would turn to mush as your soul would be separated into multiple parts by all the Underworld demons who want your head.”
Ray gulped, looking terrified.
The monitors blared.
“They’re invading!” Felicity shouted.
“Everyone suit up!” Barry ordered, everyone doing as told.
One a rooftop, all the heroes stood together as the Dominators came in hordes.
“Wearing your old suit.” Oliver noted, looking at Sara in her Canary suit though Cisco had made some modifications to add some extra protection, particularly in the mid-section.
“For Laurel. Calm me Black Canary.” Sara said, smirking. Oliver smiled at her.
“Of course, my pretty bird.” Oliver said, the old nickname slipping of his tongue before he realized it.
Given Sara’s smile, she didn’t seem offended by it. She seemed almost… happy about it.
He shook his head, regaining his thoughts and composure. They had a world to save.
Leading the charge, Oliver fired an arrow at one of them, which soon exploded.
Coast City
Hal, using a construct of a miniature wrecking ball, batted away Dominators who got too close.
Two were going from behind but an explosive came from behind, killing them.
He looked to see a young man wearing a suit very similar to the Green Arrow but in red.
“Who are you?” Hal asked.
“Name’s Arsenal.” Arsenal shouted. He had his suit just in case and well… this time was an emergency. The one he had given Thea had been a brand new one (Oliver taught him how to sew Kevlar and other light yet protective armor).
“Green Lantern. Glad to have some help.” Hal said sincerely.
“Same here.” Arsenal replied. “You have my back and I have yours?”
“Deal.” Hal said, firing his ring at several approaching dominators. Arsenal fired a bola arrow that trapped a Dominator in steel.
Metropolis
Dominators attacked, destroying the streets and killing innocents in their path.
“Stand down.” They looked to see a figure in a blue suit with a red cape, the symbol of the house of El on his chest. "This is your first and only warning to turn around and walk away."
The dominators roared, charging at him.
Clark used his freeze breath, encasing them in ice.
He then noticed a little boy cowering the corner, shaking.
He walked closer to him, kneeling in front of him.
“It’s okay, son.” Clark said, holding out his hands to show he meant no harm The little boy looked at him, tears streaming down his cheeks, but he looked in awe at Clark.
“Who are you?” He asked. Clark smiled at him.
“A friend. Now, let's go find your mom." Clark offered his hand, which the boy took after a moment.
Paris
Diana ran into the fight, seeing the police being overrun.
She threw her lasso at one of the dominators. She pulled it towards her, snapping its neck in the process and using it to launch herself near them.
She unsheathed her sword, cutting them down.
Once she was finished, she looked back at the cops, who looked both in fear and awe at her.
“Who are you?” One of them asked.
“An ally.” She then turned as more approached, readying herself for combat.
Gotham City
Bruce threw an explosive batarang at a Dominator, seeing the explosion kill it.
Dick did a quadruple flip, avoiding the dominators attacks. He threw a few wind digs, allowing the hyper sonics to activate, make them cry out in pain.
Selina used her whip, hitting dominators left and right.
Tim, after much corralling from his adoptive father, mother and older brother, had been given an old Robin suit along with a Bo staff with the same kind of 50,000 volts tazers Nightwng's escrima sticks had. He swung his bo staff, breaking a Dominator's jaw.
However, once of them was grabbed by a large plant tentacle.
“Ivy?” Selina asked.
Said woman walked on the roof.
“Consider this a truce for now.” Poison Ivy said.
“Fair enough.” Bruce grunted, using his shock gloves to beat down a Dominator before rolling out of the way of one of their blades. He lands a hook on his jaw before uppercutting the Dominator, knocking it out cold.
“Anyone else who decided to join the party?” Dick asked, looking around.
“A few.” They looked down to see Clayface smashing a hammer down on several dominators.
Killer Croc bit into one before tearing it in half.
Harley smashed her oversized mallet on of them, crushing their heads.
Mister Freeze froze all Dominators that came his way before destroying the ice they were incased in.
“Despite all that’s going… it is nice to see you again, Batman.” Ivy said, looking at the Dark Knight, who merely grunted.
He had to admit, it was good being back in the suit. A part of him had missed it.
Rome
Helena Bertinelli fired her crossbow at a dominator, wearing a modified Huntress suit that she had managed to sew after learning how to sew Kevlar and other light but protective materials.
Her boyfriend, Vic Sage, grunted as he punched a Dominator.
“Alien invasions weren’t exactly on my list of things to do.” The Question grumbled.
“Nor mine but this is the situation right about now. Deal with it.” Helena replied.
Two more figures appeared, one in red with a sword in flames and another wearing ghost type costume.
“Who are two?” Victor asked.
“Azrael and Phantasm. Explanations after the invasion.” Azrael said, burying his sword in a Dominator's chest, who screeched and howled in pain.
“Fair enough.” Helena grumbled.
Slaughter Swamp
Swamp Thing awoke from his slumber, sensing the dominators approaching.
“Who dares trespass my swamp!?” Swamp Thing’s voice boomed, earning all the Dominators attention.
He extended his hand, allowing the roots consume them before ripping them apart.
Sensing more on the way, the one known as Alec Holland knew this was going to be a long fight. But the Avatar of the Green knew he would stand against those who were foolish enough to attack the green.
Fawcett City
“SHAZAM!” Young Billy Batson transformed into the champion of the wizard, firing lightning at the incoming Dominators.
“Come at me, you Chituari knock offs!” Shazam taunted. The Dominator roared, attacking him but the Champion of the Wizard was unfazed by their attacks. He punched them one in the face, making him crash through several of his own kind.
Amnesty Bay
Arthur ran a Dominator through his trident as his wife, Mera, used her hydrokinesis to take down several Dominators, ripping them apart.
“Pops, get everyone to safety.” Arthur ordered, looking at his father grimly. “Now!”
Thomas Curry did as told, helping every get inside their homes.
Arthur turned around, twirling his trident. "Feel the wrath of the seven seas!"
Using his telepathic ability to communicate with animals, he summoned several shark to devour Dominators near the shores.
Barry ran across the world along with Wally, placing Stein’s device in them.
Star Labs warehouse
“Hello?” A voice spoke through the coms. Felicity squawked though she quickly composed herself.
“Umm… who is this?”
“Call me Oracle. I’m connecting our coms to better coordinate with each other." Oracle stated. She then suggested. "After this, let’s have a little get together with all of us.” The line went dead on her end.
Felicity stared into nothing, stupefied while Caitlin took over, helping the others coordinate.
White House, Washington DC; A Day later…
The invasion had been pushed with the meta bomb being deactivated.
Everyone who had helped pushed back the invasion had been requested by the president to come to Washington so she may personally thank them.
All of them decided to go though some were more begrudging.
“Holy crap, Batman’s real!?” Cisco exclaimed, seeing the Dark Knight in person.
Batman grunted, not please by it but Nightwing had convinced him to come. Plus, if it helped keep the GCPD (at least those who weren't a big fan of him) and his uncle' security company, the Crows off his back.
“Helena.” Oliver greeted kindly, a bit surprised to see her and a tall guy with a blue trench coat and a wearing fedora whose face was blank.
“Oliver. It’s good to see you.” Helena said, shaking his hand.
“Who’s this?”
“My boyfriend, The Question. I’m sure you’ve heard of him.” Helena informed him.
“Heard rumors in Hub City. An oddball but does good work from what I’ve heard.” Oliver remarked. He extended a hand in greeting, which the man took so a bit reluctant.
“A Green Lantern, huh?” Martian Manhunter questioned.
“Yup and I’m the guardian of this sector. Sector 2814.” Hal said. “And you’re the last Martian?”
“Yes.” J’onn said solemnly. Hal nodded in understanding, knowing what it was like to lose family.
“Krypton shared a very similar fate to Mars.” Clark remarked, walking over to the Last son of Mars.
“I am sorry for your loss.” J’onn said sincerely, the two sharing an understanding look.
Kara stood to the sides, gawking at the similar yet so different version of her cousin. Did he not have a Kara on this world? Perhaps she should speak to him after this… She also looked Martian Manhunter and Batman of this earth, shocked to see they both existed. If that's the case, could there maybe be an Oliver Queen and Barry Allen in her world but she didn't know about it? She'll have to look into that with her Clark and Batman for when she gets back.
“Well, would you look at that, Old swampy decided to show his face, eh?” Constantine quipped. He was genuinely surprised to see the Avatar of the green. Still, the fact Jason Blood hadn't summoned that bloody demon was a little disappointing but eh, probably for the best. Etrigan was too much of a wild card to throw into this though if things hadn't gone as well as they had, he might have forced the issue. Given they hadn't, he'll leave the poor man alone for now.
“Abby encouraged me and well… I believe I could help in ways by simply staying in my Swamp I could not.” Swamp Thing said, the last part coming out as if he swallowed something sour.
Constantine wanted to laugh but Zatanna smacked his shoulder, a warning look shot at the Warlock.
“ROY!” Thea tackled the scarlet archer, nearly crushing his ribs. Oliver smiled at the sight, glad to see the two reunited.
“An Atlantean.” Diana noted, looking over Arthur. “Never thought I’d see one of your kind. Especially a half human king.”
“Nor I an amazon.” Arthur replied coolly. “Though I can tell you’re far from an average Amazon. Princess?”
Diana smiled. “Quite perceptive.”
“He has his moments.” Mera remarked, earning chuckle from two of them while Arthur huffed, crossing his arms over his chest.
“Huh, guess we weren’t alone as we thought.” Jefferson Jackson remarked.
“Yes, it seems our world has gotten quite… big.” Martin Stein said, looking around at the gathered heroes and even some villains.
The president walked up, tapping the mic as she began to speak. Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Firestorm, Steel, Shazam, Swamp Thing, Constantine, Zatanna, Mera, Arsenal, Speedy, Martian Manhunter, Green Lantern, Nightwing, Catwoman, Huntress, Azrael, Phantasm, the Question, Wild Dog, Ragman, Heatwave, Atom, Robin (Tim Drake), Vixen, Hawkman, Hawkgirl (the latter two having come out of retirement), and Supergirl.
"Many responsibilities have fallen to me since the President's passing at the beginning of this crisis. Sobering, sad responsibilities. This is not one of them. Today, it is my distinct honor to bestow upon you a small acknowledgement of the great debt that the world owes to you all."
“This was a onetime thing.” Batman grumbled under his breath.
“I agree. I’m an intergalactic cop. I can’t be on Earth all the damn time.” Hal added.
“I serve only the green.” Swamp Thing said in monotone voice.
“I’ve got my own messes to deal with. Especially with the demonic fuckers who try every Monday to get my soul.” Constantine added.
“Still, there will be times the world needs us.” Superman said, looking at all of them. “And all of us alone won’t be enough to stop whatever may come.”
“I agree.” The Flash said. “The world is growing bigger in the impossible becoming possible and with that, comes greater threats.”
All of them took a moment to contemplate Superman and Flash’s words.
“Know that, metahuman or not, masked or not, alien or not, each and every one of you is a hero.”
The crowd applauded and cheered for them.
Meanwhile, the more tactical members like Green Arrow and Batman knew they could get pardons for certain acquittances of their like Roy Harper and Victor Fries.
Mr. Smith walked into the Marriot that had been rented out completely by all the heroes in Washington.
He saw them at the bar and restaurant, already knowing some of their names.
“Mister Queen. Allen. Wayne. Prince. Palmer. May I join you?” Smith asked politely. Everyone of them turned to glare at him, having been informed by those in know. “Here for the mop up.”
“Clean up. All of you government big wigs are the same.” Oliver replied coldly.
“Funny coming from the Mayor of Star City.” Smith shot back.
"Agent Smith!" Kara said cheerily as she walked up to him, "It's so lovely seeing you here. I was just having the loveliest chat with your President about you. I was telling her, on my Earth, we have a Department of Extranormal Operations, which deals specifically with aliens. She thinks it is an excellent idea. She also loved my pitch about reassigning you to Antarctica."
“While being quite open to Diplomatic discussions with Atlantis.” Arthur added, giving a vindictive smirk as the Agent look humiliated and defeated.
“Asshole.” Dick grumbled.
“That will be a quarter in the swear jar for when we return, Master Grayson.” Alfred scolded, earning a sheepish look from the young man.
“Wow, you look constipated.” Andrea remarked, seeing Bruce’s uncomfortable expression.
“I’m not much of a people person.” Bruce said.
“I know.” Andrea said. “Bruce, about you and me…”
“It wouldn’t have worked out.” Bruce cut her off. “We’ve become far too different and I’m happy with Selina. Seems your happy with Jean Paul as well.”
“How did you?” Andrea trailed off, realizing the why.
He was Batman.
Bruce, knowing what she was thinking, smirked.
“Air force, huh?” John asked, looking at Hal.
“Yup. Army?” Hal asked, taking a sip of his beer.
“You got that right, Flyboy.”
“Well, I’ll try not to step on your toes, ground pounder.” Hal quipped. He then turned to Oliver. “Yo, Queen? Up for a game of beer pong?”
“Not in particular.” Oliver replied, he and Sara in the couch seats as she lay her head on his shoulder.
“Well too bad. Come on.” Hal said, going to Constantine to ask for help.
“Hey, after this, let’s talk?” Oliver said.
“Definitely.” Sara said, grinning him. She kissed him on the cheek. “For good luck.”
Oliver smiled going to where the table was being set.
Sara looked around before she noticed a teenager, probably around 15, sitting a bit away from the crowd as . She went to his side, sitting down next to him.
“Hi.”
“Hi.” Tim said awkwardly back. “I’m Tim.”
“I’m Sara. Nice to meet you.” Sara said, shaking the teenager’s hand.
“Thank you. You as well.” Tim looked up at her, smiling. Sara smiled back at him, for some reason already liking the kid.
Arthur and Clark were having a drinking contest (which the poor reporter had been roped into).
Many thought Arthur would win but Clark beat him by a few seconds.
“What the hell!?” Arthur exclaimed, shocked.
“I can breathe in space so…” Clark shrugged.
As the night went on, heroes mingled amongst each other, finding common ground with each other and making friends with people who understood them in ways the outer world could not.
Tower of Fate
Kent Nelson, current wielder of the helmet of Fate of the lord of order Nabu, smiled as he saw current events. The age of heroes had been born. Despite the Time Masters and Eobard Thawne's best attempts, the Justice League had been born.
“Seems you were quite mistaken my friend.” Kent said, seeing a disgruntled Mar Novu walking in.
“So, it would seem.” The Monitor replied.
“Your cynicism was quite unfounded. What you should have given them all is a chance. Not write them off like you did when Thawne went back and changed the timeline.”
“But for a time, the age of heroes had died before it came.” Mar Novu shot back.
“No, my friend, simply delayed. Fate has a way of happening one way or the other.” Kent said.
“Yet there are still threats they are not ready for. Heroes who still have not come out into the light.” The Monitor pointed out.
“All in very good time, Mar Novu. Soon more will come out and join this new dawn. The Dawn of the Golden age of heroism.” Dr. Fate said.
The Monitor soon after.
In the next seven years, more heroes came out of the shadows such as Beast Boy, Raven, Cyborg, Stargirl, Hourman, Fire, Ice, Captain Atom, Black Lightning, Thunder, Lightning, Starfire, Cyclone, Atom Smasher, Blue Beetle (Ted Kord and later one Jaime Reyes), Booster Gold, and more.
However, soon came a Crisis unlike anything they had ever faced. Brainiac, Darkseid, Atrocitus, Mongul, Despero, Zod, and others like them compared nothing to it.
The Anti-Monitor.
But with the help of the largest army of heroes the world has ever seen along with various Earths throughout the Multiverse, they defeated him.
And so came the ages of heroes.
During this time, Barry left Iris, finding her far too toxic and later started dating Caitlin Snow, the two married 4 years ago. During their wedding, Nazis from Earth X crashed, along with villainous versions of themselves but defeated and sent back to their world broken, allowing for the rebellion to defeat them.
Oliver and Sara got back together as she then left the Legends while Carter and Kendra joined them once more, with Carter taking over the group as the Leader.
Nightwing and Arsenal founded their own team with the younger heroes, especially when an alien princess from a planet called Tamaran crashed on Earth. They operated out of Bludhaven for a time before moving to San Francisco. They were known as the Titans.
After the invasion, Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Martian Manhunter and Aquaman met in secret and when an alien invader known as Starro the Conqueror invaded the Earth, they officially founded the Justice League.
And once the Crisis has come and gone, the world allowed itself to live as the Age of Heroes never truly left.
It simply went… Beyond what many had thought it would, becoming a Legion of Heroes that will last for centuries to come.
