Summary
Jirou does the unthinkable, Koujirou gives in.
He could recite a few paragraphs from that book at that point, yet, he still felt as if he was reading it for the first time. He was always left breathless, and with the same heartache, as he envied the woman in the story, for meeting such a man that would risk it all for her, even if it meant killing a thousand evil men just to see her one last time. Jirou wanted that for himself as well, but that was fiction, just a mere tale written for one’s entertainment. It really shouldn’t have this sort of impact on him, but alas, those feelings just seemed to wash over him every time.
