It is January 15th and every member decided to spend their time with Seungkwan because as their comeback approaches, there are still things that need to be done like shooting the music video, printing the photocards, and getting ready for the offline event since this is the second time BooSeokSoon will appear live. But it is Seungkwan's birthday the next day and everyone did have time so they might as well celebrate it a day early - except for Vernon who is nowhere to be found.
"Where is Vernon?" Seungcheol asked.
"I don't know! Not in the dorm?" Dino, the youngest replied.
"He wasn't there, I was supposed to pick him up," Seokmin said.
"Maybe he went out but did he read the message on Kakao Talk?" Joshua asked, basically all of them kept asking where Vernon is.
"He did check it... an hour ago but where is he?" Jeonghan asked, again everyone looks for Vernon but they can't seem to find him.
On the other hand, Seungkwan was worried because not even a "Happy Birthday" was sent through his phone but he realized that it wasn't really his birthday yet so he just let it go.
"Vernon said he's running late, he needs to do something Sofia made him buy something" Wonwoo announced with everyone lounging casually.
Seungkwan understood that maybe because Vernon had a mixtape a few days ago and that they have too many schedules he decided to not just give it a go, I mean he's just Boo Seungkwan for goodness sake, not someone who is very important to him.
Jeonghan noticed that Seungkwan's mood is off the hook, he felt it because he doesn't even smile whenever the members play a game which everybody thought it is funny but for him, he was just basically there.
The members did all sorts of entertainment from karaoke, playing games, football and etc. but still Seungkwan is low on his own mood don't get him wrong he is happy that the members spends their precious time with him, and because it is Sunday and instead of visiting their families or be with their families they chose to be with Seungkwan. He just looks for Vernon that's it.
A few hours later Vernon came ignoring the fact that he did not even greet Seungkwan, he just walk past him and smiled. The members might have thought that they are just having a silly fight and someone is being petty about it.
How can he not greet me?! Seungkwan thought.
I know my birthday isn't today but.... Seungkwan is sulking.
Vernon noticed him and almost laughed. While the members are busy setting up the table he went to Seungkwan and asked him what was wrong.
"Why..?" he asked.
"Nothing" Seungkwan replied, oh please! You know what was wrong Vernon.
Vernon knew what Seungkwan meant even if he said it is "Nothing", Oh to have someone that can understand you!
He then handed a small box to Seungkwan, "I know it's too early but I want you to have this.." he said.
Seungkwan opened it and saw that it was a bracelet with what seemed to be meant for two persons.
"The other one is mine and the other is yours.." Vernon said and insisted to put the bracelet on Seungkwan's hands.
"Happy Birthday, Seungkwan.." he whispered, and with that Vernon gave him a kiss on the lips, which for Seungkwan tasted like Orange.
When Seungkwan was back to his senses Vernon pushed him towards the other and told him to enjoy the night with the assurance that they will never be apart.
