Will sobbed, snot running down dripping to his shirt. the pills in hand were unnamed yet prescribed to him. he messily threw them into his mouth before chugging the water in the plastic bottle to make sure they went down.
His eyesight fogged with tears as his head starting throbbing and he attempted to get up from his bed but his legs shook underneath him, barely able to support his weight he limply went to the bathroom.
He reached for the doorknob before his knees hit the floor and he passed out to the sound of his name being called. "Will!" He couldn't tell if it was Johnathan or his mom. Will remembered Johnathan driving recklessly and quickly on the road. "Will! are you awake?!" Will's hearing clogged up. "John...Johnathan?" Johnathan had tears running down his face. he looked down to his younger brother who was just holding on to his life. "Yeah it's me buddy" he gave a weak smile to comfort his brother. "we're almost at the hospital, mom is gonna meet us there." Will's eyes were heavy "Cool."
"Will! please wake up. we're almost there!" Johnathan passed red lights he didn't focus on the lights just the brother he loved with all of his heart. He made it to the hospital, his 15 year old brother in his arms.
Mike put a card down, a blue 9. "Uno!" Mike said from the other side of the table. Lucas narrowed his eyes before smirking. "Take two." the card he put down was a plus two card which was blue to match the previous color. A full smile reached Mike's face. "Uno out!" a green plus two layered onto the previous card lucas has put. Lucas laughed at Mike's giddy laughter from winning.
Mike's attention quickly changed to the boy that came in walking with a nurse into his room. Max got up from her table to talk to Mike. "Looks like you got a roomie." Max dragged out the e in roomie Mike shrugged his shoulders. "I guess so? I was enjoying the single room life." Mike reorganized the uno cards into a deck. "Hey Lucas shuffle these. I'm gonna go check out my roommate."
Will's stay at the hospital lasted a week. They needed to be sure the pills got out of his system. They gave him green scrubs and sent him to the 7th floor. It was the mental ward for adolescents. Will's nervousness increased as the nurse explained that it was freetime for everybody and that she'll leave him to settle in. and like a hyperactive puppy a boy walks in "Hey! I'm mike! I'm your roommate." Will waved shyly. "Hey mike. I'm Will."
Mike used his eyes to observe the boy's behavior and made notes of it, he had a messy bowlcut whilst wrapped in a blanket, he still had his scrubs because he just got into the ward and you need to be there for 24 hours before you can get proper clothes from home. His face had freckles splattered on it. "Will you got here pretty uh- late." mike spun around messily. "You have 45 minutes till lights out so I'll let you settle and any questions you can ask me." Will shuffled awkwardly "I'm just going to sleep now." Will was sure Mike was going to bother him. "Oh okay, bye Will. I'll be back during lights out."
Will doesn't like the situation he's thrown himself in.
