Carina had been at work for the past two days. These had been the longest days she could ever remember having at work. She barely had time for herself as she had to back deliveries. The worst part was that she hadn’t been able to talk to Maya. Any small moment she had to call the blonde she only got her voicemail. She knew Maya was at work for one of her shifts but she had the next day off. It was unlike her girlfriend not to message her back. Carina did start to worry that something had happened, but knew if Maya was injured she’d be notified right away.
Carina called Maya again and left another voicemail.
“ Bambina, I don’t know why you aren’t answering me, but I hope you’re okay. This shift has been extra hard and all I want to do is curl up in your arms. I miss you so much and not hearing your voice is making me crazy. Please, bambina, when you get this.. please call me back. I love you so much.” Carina’s voiced cracked at the end. She didn’t want Maya to worry about her but she needed her girlfriend.
Carina continued on with her shift. Delivering two more babies. She was finally able to clock out at 7:00 and the rest of her energy was used making it to Maya’s apartment.
She didn’t know if she should be worried or mad that she never got a message back. She only had to knock twice before the door flies open to the best sight she’d seen in days. Her girlfriend standing there safe and sound wearing comfy clothes that looked extra soft. Carina knew she’d be stealing them.
“ Hi babe! I’ve missed you!” Maya opened her arms to hug her girlfriend.
Carina collapsed into her arms and let Maya support her weight. She buried her face in Maya’s neck and inhaled her scent. She was home.
Maya could tell that Carina was going to be extra clingy tonight. She loved clingy Carina. Making sure her girlfriend felt loved and cared for was a job she took seriously.
“ How about you go take a shower and I’ll get dinner ready”
“ No” Carina said as she pressed closer to Maya.
“ Baby, just a quick one. I know you’ll feel better after being in the hospital for the last two days.”
“ fine, but I expect you to hold me the rest of the night.”
Maya chuckled, “ of course” she let go of Carina and pointed her towards the bathroom but not before slapping her ass as she walked away.
Carina felt human again after her shower. She put on one of Maya’s shirt with a pair of underwear. Pants weren’t necessary tonight. She walked out into the kitchen as Maya was dishing up her favorite pasta.
“ Bella, you made my favorite “ Carina felt her heart swell in her chest.
“ I thought you’d want some comfy food.”
“ What I want is you” Carina said as she jumped into Maya’s arms. She wrapped herself around the blonde and brought them together for a hard kiss of nothing but tongue and teeth. After two days of no contact Carina was going to take what she needed and what she needed was Maya.
“ Bella, I love you so much but why didn’t I hear from you at all. I felt so alone.” Carina’s eyes started to water. She nuzzled her face into Maya’s neck.
Maya felt bad for causing Carina any pain. “My sweet girl” Maya said as she placed a kiss to the side of her head. “ I am so sorry, but my phone was destroyed during a call. I meant to go get another one today but by the time I got to the store they were closed. I honestly thought you’d be to busy to talk so I didn’t worry to much about it, but tomorrow I’ll get a new phone.” She pushed Carina’s hair behind her ear.
“ I don’t care how busy I am I want to hear from you. Just a message from you makes everything better.”
Maya leaned in and kissed her again. “ we should eat before it gets cold then we can cuddle on the couch for the rest of the night. Maya put Carina back down so they could eat.
They ate dinner talking about what happened on their shifts. Afterwards they retreated to the couch. Maya laid down with Carina on top wrapped around her like a koala bear.
As the movie played Maya played with Carina’s hair. The doctor let out a sigh of pure relaxation. Eventually the brunette started to grow heavier on top of Maya.
Maya adjusted Carina in her arms so she could carry her to bed. Once in the bedroom they laid back down but now Carina had woken up and seemed to have found her second wind.
Carina immediately crawled up Maya to be face to face and started kissing her passionately. Her tongue immediately asking and being granted access.
They kissed and removed clothes. Carina pressed as close to Maya as she could. She didn’t want any space between them.
“ Bambina, I need to feel you.” She panted into Maya’s ear.
“ I’m here, love. We’re together.. let me love you.”
“ mmmmmm.”
Maya and Carina spent the rest of the night getting reacquainted with each’s body til they were both sweaty and spent.
Carina fell asleep almost right away which Maya couldn’t blame her. After working back to back shifts then having multiple orgasms.
Maya stayed awake a bit longer just holding her. She would never understand how she got this beautiful woman to fall for her. She’d do anything for her.
The next morning Carina woke up in bed alone. Immediately upset she tried calling out for Maya but was only met with silence.
Carina was still feeling very needy and was not ready to be alone. If Maya had gotten called away for work she would’ve woken her up. Tears started to build up in her eyes.
The door of the apartment opened and Maya walked in holding a brand new phone and food. Being the light sleeper she was it wasn’t a surprise she woke up long before her love. She thought she’d sneak out and get a new phone and Carina’s favorite breakfast.
As she entered the bedroom she walked over to Carina. As she brushed hair away from her face she was met with red puffy eyes.
“ Carina! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?! Why are you crying?!?”
Carina sat up and made grabby hands for Maya who immediately pulled her into her lap.
“ I woke up alone!”
“ I’m sorry. I thought I’d be back before you woke up. I just stepped out and got a new phone and some breakfast. How can I make you feel better?”
Carina looked up at Maya. “ kisses would help.”
Maya just laughed and did as her girl asked.
Maya spent the rest of the day showering her girlfriend in love.
