Summary
Elí'ya returns to her adopted parents, the Olo'ektan and Tsahík of the Metkayina. In search of the legacy of her parents and the urge to travel Pandora, she left in secret several months ago, abandoning her role of Tsakarem in fear. Nevertheless, protection of her clan is more valuable to her than the shame of returning to which she outcasted herself from. Upon arrival, she finds that the former Toruk Makto and his family seek Uturu within Awa'atlu. Despite discovering that Toruk Makto is the cause of the tensions and war brewing within her home, Elí'ya can't help the growing curiosity and deep connection she feels towards him and his family; the forest people living among the sea.
