karl reveals an offer to rellik, but its rather a corny one

Chapter Text

“Del, you’re going to have to stand back. It seems like another intruder has interrupted us.”
Rellik stood by Del’s side as she backed up a bit, groaning in distress. She’s gonna have to watch him fight off again?
Del wished she could do at least something about all these hostile people, but if anything there’s no jack-shit about changing people here. Her thoughts paused when she heard a gasp from Rellik, him backing up also.

“Well hello again—! It’s nice to see you, Vampire and Rauran!”
They both looked up to see the figure come out of the dark, their prior enemy from some time ago.
“..Not you again.”
Rellik frowned at the sight of his former opponent, Karl, standing in front of him. What a disappointing sight! A coincidental one, too. But, Karl only smiled happily with his shapeshifting bird, Arma.
“Aw, what is it? Aren’t-cha glad to see me? I’m sure Arma is proud to see you too!”
Karl lifted his arm up to motion Arma to stare at them, the bird’s ruby heading bulbs giving them a death inducing look.
“G-God, can’t you just screw off already, you’re a total freak!”
Del almost yelled at the stone boy as he smirked right back to her, his eye continuously twitching for a bit. He tilted his head over to Del as his facial expression stood the same.
“Oh, I’m not looking for you, little Rauran. I’m simply seeking out.. Your partner. The Vampire if I have to specify.”
Karl led Arma onto his head as he walked forwards, hands lent down to his sides while he slowly stopped, smiling wickedly when he paused in front of Rellik.
“Me and your little Vampire friend need to talk in private, got that?”
Karl put a palm on Rellik’s shoulder as he quickly shoved it off, the stone boy ignoring the contact and bringing his attention back to Del.
“What? I’m sure he’s not even going to allow that— Idiot!”
Del stepped back even further now, realizing Rellik hasn’t spoken a word since Karl began speaking. He must know something is going on.. It’s okay, Rellik can do this. He’s not stupid.
“Del, stand back for a bit. I don’t know what could happen next.”
Rellik tweaked his head over to Karl as he stared right back at him, suddenly becoming all joyous and laughing it off. He backed up a bit then, putting his hands behind his head.
“Oh don’t be a ridiculous Vampire! I’m not going to hurt you, it’s a simple little chat, that’s all!”
Karl smiled innocently as Rellik looked back to Del, noticing her worried face as her tail pointed to go to the room behind her.
She noticed after a little few seconds, and dragged herself outside of the room while pouting.
“So.. Let’s begin, shall we?”

Karl backed up from Rellik, hands behind back as Arma disappeared, noticeably portraying Rellik as he prepared himself also.
As Arma began to shapeshift, Rellik began to ready himself while sighing, launching towards Karl to fight him when—
“Don’t try that. I'm not going to fight you just yet, Vampire.”
His stone cold hand was on Rellik’s chest as he lowered him to the ground, putting his hands in his pockets and sighing.
“What is it? Aren’t you the one filled with hatred? Don’t you hate everyone? Any being, animal or thing?”
Rellik said threateningly as he eyeballed at Karl, lifting his leg up to kick him in his concrete stomach once as a warning sign.
“Oh, don’t be silly. Maybe I was lying, who knows! I was only playing around. Don’t get so cocky, Vampire.”
Karl began walking around the enclosed room, motioning to himself as he stared up to the roof of the room.
“Well, What I wanted to say was… Are you perhaps empty on your stock of blood?”

Rellik jumped a bit. He expected much from this insane guy, but that was something he didn’t expect. How did he not know he was running short on blood to drink from…?
“Hah! Well, I guess we’ve got an answer. Let’s make a deal, shall we?”
He stopped in his tracks as he planted his foot down, the dust around it making a little poof on the floor as he cheaply laughed at Rellik.
“…Fine. As long as it doesn’t involve her.”
Rellik turned his head to face towards Karl, his cloak still hiding him. He didn’t know what was coming next, It was his duty to stay cautious incase of any stupidity Karl had up his sleeve.
“Oh don’t worry about the little Rauran, she won’t be in this. It’s just me…” He began to point at his chest, then pointed to Rellik. “…And you. Got that?”
Karl began to step closer back to Rellik, taking a smug look as he leaned himself back to look at the undead man almost above his head.
“Oh deary me, I almost forgot to tell you the deal! Let me explain… If you do something specific for me, I’ll cook you up some blood for next week. Got that?”
Rellik paused. Karl began to walk a slight foot closer, still gawking at him as his eye twitched a bit again.
“I… Sure. Fine. We can do this, As long as whatever I have to do isn’t so stupid.”
“Great!”
