"So let me get this straight, your lover who looks just like me died in your arms drinking poison and you kissed him thinking you would die with him?" Sunghoon recapped what Jay said
"And then you were here?" Sunghoon concluded
Jay sat on Sunghoon's couch and nodded.
"And your Sunghoon looked just like me?" Sunghoon asked
"Your hair's a little longer than his and you have eye bags but mostly you look the same." Jay noted
"The eye bags are identifiers for university students." Sunghoon joked but Jay tilted his head not understanding.
"So Prince Jayson-"
"Jayson Dubois Demian the third." Jay corrected him
"Jayson Dubai Deez wha- people are gonna make fun of you if you go around introducing yourself like that." Sunghoon sighed
"Then what shall I do." Jay said
"Since you're in Korea, let's give you a Korean name!" Sunghoon said
"Korean name?" Jay wondered.
"Something starting with J," Sunghoon thought "like Jaemin!"
Jay made a face
"You don't like it?" Sunghoon asked
"Jaeyun? No that's Jake's Korean name. Jinyoung? Jaehyuk? Jisung? Jongseong? Jungmin? Jaebum? Joongki?" Sunghoon listed
"Joongki!" Sunghoon gasped "like Song Joongki!"
"I don't like that name." Jay said, Sunghoon whipped his head towards him, eyes dark with anger.
"I- I mean-" Jay tried to backtrack.
"You dare disrespect Song Joongki in my own house?" Sunghoon said making Jay very scared
"Wh- what I mean is, I think the name Joongki is very personal to you." Jay tried to explain. His Sunghoon was terrifying when he got angry and if this Sunghoon was anything like his lover, he feared the consequences of making him angry.
"Oh, right. Song Joongki does have a special place in my heart." Sunghoon's rage simmered down. Jay relaxed in his seat.
"Maybe giving you a Korean name isn't a good idea. We should stick with just Jay. We could introduce you as a foreigner." Sunghoon said
"I like Jongseong." Jay said, it was a name that stuck out to him when Sunghoon was listing them off.
Sunghoon hummed
"I guess it would suit you." He said
"Does it have a meaning?" Jay asked
"Collecting stars, I believe," Sunghoon said
"And we'll give you Park as your surname. The same as mine." Sunghoon smiled.
"Park Jongseong." Jay said
"It has a nice ring to it." Sunghoon smiled.
"Yes!" Jay smiled
"Alright then, Jongseong. First up, we need to teach you how the 21st century works." Sunghoon smiled pulling out his old iPhone.
"A shiny, red brick?" Jay asked
"No! This my friend, is a phone. It's a little device that will help you communicate and entertain yourself among other things." Sunghoon explained
"I do not like that you who have the same face as my former lover are addressing me as a friend." Jay commented making Sunghoon snort.
"Right sorry, I didn't mean to friendzone you." Sunghoon chuckled
"What is a friend zone?" Jay asked
"Um.., you just need two days on Twitter and you'll learn all the slang." The student said and switched on his phone, making Jay gasp.
"You're on this brick!" Jay said looking at Sunghoon's lock screen that had a picture of him with his dog Gaeul. "But you look different here! And you're so small."
"Yeah dude, that's a pict-"
"Is this witchcraft? Sunghoon are you a witch? If someone finds out you'll be burned at the stake!" Jay panicked
"Woah woah, calm down." Sunghoon said, " I am not a witch, this is a very common device that every person in the 21st century has. And this is a photo. It's like a painting but it's instant and clearer."
Jay listened intently to Sunghoon's explanation, still not quite understanding but an attempt was being made and Sunghoon appreciated it.
"Alright, let's get you on the Internet!" Sunghoon said, "maybe Naver search will ease my burdens of having to educate you on the 21st century."
