Summary
“My lord, why must you keep me here?” He asks. He asks this question every night they meet, yet he only receives a smug smile and cryptic words. His King doesn’t answer why he lets his blood be drank by his most dutiful knight. He doesn’t answer why he keeps a vampire as his most dutiful knight, either. Isagi isn’t sure why Kaiser stole him off the street and dressed him in such beautiful clothes, dolled him up only to treat him as a means of pleasure. He never understood why Kaiser needed a pet like him.
Kaiser only gives the same smug expression he always does, “It is because I’ve fallen for you, Yoichi.” It takes everything in Isagi not to gag. Such an obvious lie it irritated him more than if he had just not replied at all. He only sighed, choosing not to question his King further.
