   Summary

   There’s bright blue eyes, almost electric blue, in the cover of the darkness that the kid is in. Simon makes eye contact, feeling a rush of adrenaline shoot through him.

    

   “I’m Simon, kiddo. What’s your name?” He asks, reaching out a hand towards the child. As soon as he does that, though, the kid flinches. Harshly. He pushes himself up towards the wall, to the point where it looks almost painful. His eyes squeeze shut, and Simon takes that as a sign to back the Hell up.
