   Summary

   During the height of her ballet career, Aurora finds herself narrowly escaping death after she falls victim to an unspeakable crime. As she watches her only future prospects crumble around her, she can't help but start to feel invisible to the world in a way she's never experienced before.

   That is, invisible to everyone except for the man who had saved her life: the equally awkward and strange Satanic Cardinal Copia.

   As she fights to rebuild her life from the rubble, Aurora is determined to do whatever it takes to get her revenge on her perpetrators. Without much more than the shirt on her back, she forms an unlikely alliance with the Cardinal and his church, never expecting it to be more than that. But what happens when the pull she feels toward the strange religion becomes too much for her to ignore? And how long can she keep the feelings she buries for the peculiar man at bay until they finally bubble up to the surface?
