Summary
Tim slams Lucy’s bedroom door and then turns, his lips never leaving hers as he backs her up against it. He has one hand under her shirt while the other tangles in her hair, holding her mouth to his, and he thought that he’d known desperation when she’d kissed him in the airplane but it’s nothing compared to the fire racing through his veins now.
He feels like his blood is on fire.
He feels like he’s been underwater for years, and he’s just now breaking the surface.
He feels like he’s suffocating for want of her.
“Lucy,” he groans, and she giggles as he forces himself to pull away. He uses the scant few inches he allows himself to step back to peel her sweater off of her body, and then he’s diving back in, the hand on her belly inching upward until he’s cupping one of her breasts in his palm, the tips of his fingers searching for skin underneath the lace.
