with a huff, mapicc leaned against the wall of zam’s castle and looked down at the floor. there was blood splattered and pooled in various spots, which could’ve easily been prevented if zam hadn’t picked a fight he couldn’t win.
ro was beside him closing an enderchest and stuffing a few potions in his pockets. standing up, ro stated, “i’m going to spawn.”
mapicc narrowed his eyes, reaching forward to grab ro’s hand before he walked away. both of their hands were bloody but it didn’t matter— it wasn’t either of their blood anyway. “just leave it ro. it’s not worth the effort.”
ro turned their head back to look at mapicc. despite making eye contact, their gaze remained distant. “he’s interfering with our plans.” ro’s eyes flickered down to where mapicc’s hand had a hold of his; he didn’t try to pull away. instead, he asked, “can you let go?”
mapicc sighed, rolling his eyes and tightening his grip slightly. “c’mon man, let’s just go.” he tugged ro’s hand. ro didn’t budge. “he isn’t important enough for us to care.”
ro stared a mapicc for a moment before yanking their hand out of mapicc’s grasp. they turned forward and walked away towards zam’s nether portal.
mapicc stood there, watching as ro stepped through the portal and vanished. “didn’t need to use that much force.” he grumbled. mapicc took one last glance around the room before heading to the portal as well, apparently needing to be the rational one in the situation. as he stepped foot into the portal, mapicc felt the buzz of his communicator. he didn’t bother to check it— he already knew what it was.
