    “Alright, I think we’re clear.” Joel said. He didn’t hear the usual snarky response from Ellie.

    Then he heard her fall and he immediately looked back. His heart stopped. He felt his stomach doing flips.

    The shot that the hunter had let off had hit her. Her scream had been hidden under the sound of the gunshots.

    She looked just like Sarah. Ellie had the same little gasps of pain, her breath rapid.. Her hands weakly held her stomach where she’d been hit, doing little to hold the blood back.
    It was all the same. Like some terrible nightmare.

    TLDR// ellie is the one that gets hurt during Autumn. the events of winter are different with this little change. lots of hurt/comfort <3 remake of an older fic i did with the same premise.
