Chapter Text
The void-bound scientist hummed in concentration as he wrote down his latest entry. He had been observing the behavior of his lackies, William Afton and Chara Afton, as well as those who seeked him, such as Michael Afton and Henry Emily.
Some were merciful, while others preferred to fight. The timeline was constantly being reset, be it soft or hard resets, and the results were something that he had never examined before. As frightening as it was, it was just as, if not even more fascinating.
He enjoyed re-reading the entries, summoning the very first entry that he had written when William had first initially shown up in the void. He had even discovered that the human had a journal of its own. It's entries were just as eye-catching as everything else.
He had made a deal with the human when he had first shown up in the void after he had died for the first time. It wasn't difficult to convince the human, especially considering the extremely desperate and confused state he was in. He granted William the ability to reset the timeline, and in return, he would be able to examine the human and his behaviors. This way, he would be able to keep track of all of his acts, and the ones of those around him as well.
At the given moment, it seemed like William was hunting something down, and taking quite the blunt approach, doing anything to get what he wanted, even if it meant killing, even if it meant committing genocide.
Those who followed him, on the other hand, appeared to be attempting to stop him. They weren't very good at it, as it would often result in their deaths at the hands of the human who was much more skilled in combat. However, this would only buy William some time, as it appeared that the one's chasing him also possessed the ability to reset the timeline upon their demise. They seemed just as, if not even more determined to stop William.
Ever since William and those who followed him fell into The Underground, things had become very, very interesting…
