"I'm home but..." the message read as Komi-san drifts off to sleep, tomorrow is the day when she starts her 3rd year.
As she walks to school, lost in her thoughts, and very nervous because she is gonna start her new year at Itan High School.
"Hello, mom. What's up?" A lady in her mid-twenties got a call from her mother while she was driving. (Don't talk while driving)
"Huh?! How? ok I will come back quickly" as she sped up not realizing a girl was in front of her.
"KOMI-SAN!!" A guy with a cowlick came from behind the girl and pushed her, the girl looked behind and before she could react she was pushed and landed on her hips, she let out a slow yelp.
It felt dark when she opened her eyes, she saw a car and breathed heavily and started to look around.
Shouko : T-Ta-Tada-Tadano-kun..?!!
??? : OH MY GOSH! I'm so sorry! I will quickly call the ambulance!
And she started pulling out her phone "Hello! yes, there was an accident here! The victim is in bad shape! Uhh, we're near Itan High School!"
Shouko started to move towards a bloodied Hitohito, tears started pouring from her eyes.
Hitohito was bleeding in his legs (because that's where he got hit) and his head(because he landed there)
Shouko: Ta-Tadano--Kun.. pls respond.... pls s-say som-something!
Sirens were heard as the medics picked up the body and went to the hospital.
Shouko was still sobbing, she couldn't go to her first day of school and went to the hospital instead, She then called her mom.
Shouko : Hello..
Shuuko : Oh hello Shuuko! What is it?
Shouko : Tadano-kun..
Shuuko : Hm? What about him?
Shouko He- He got into *sob* a car accident...
Shuuko: What!!?? That's terrible! Where are you? Did you call his family yet?
Shouko: No. I'm in Yoinghon Hospital.
Shuuko : Ok hang on! Im coming!
Shuuko and the other Tadanos came running to the hospital and Shuuko wrapped her daughter in a hug
Jeane: Where is he? Is he ok?
Shouko: I.. don't know, I'm so sorry.
Hitomi: Don't worry, it is no one's fault.
Then a doctor came out, "Good news and bad news"
Hitomi: What is it doc?
Doctor: Good news is he is alive
Everyone felt a sigh of relief
Doctor: Bad news is he's gonna take time to recover and can't walk for a brief period of time due to his legs being injured. You guys can see him now but he is resting right now.
Everyone got in, satisfied a little that Hitohito was still alive but they were still kind of down.
Hitohito was sleeping, his head bandaged, and his legs too.
Everyone was very sad to see the condition he was in.
Shouko: It is... my fault he is like this..
Shuuko : No it is not! what makes you say that!
Shouko: He... He dived in to p-protect me.. this is all my fault.
Hitomi: Don't worry about it Shouko-chan! he is like this.
Shuuko: Oh do you guys know they started dating?
Hitomi and Jeeane : Huh?
Shouko : Mom!
Hitomi: I thought he was gay.
Doctor: Well you guys need to leave now.
Jeane: Can't we stay any longer?
Doctor: No, sorry, we need to check up on the patient.
Everyone sighed in disappointment and left.
Shouko could not sleep that night, but she had to go to school "Tadano..Why?"
