K'nuckles found flapjack (not panacake ) rather nnoying because he little kid who very energy whereas K'nuckles old guy who hasn't had proper sleep long time but he still found the kid admittedly charming at points
"K'nuckles" flapjack said with big smile (he always have big smile so is not surprise) one particular morning. The pair had slept on dock in random town. And K'nuckles back hurt from do that
"What do you want, kid?" K'nuckles blue man ask, annoy in voice but Flapjack kid not mind because knuckles always sound pissed off like this that yeah
"Me saw guy with lots gold walk by last night"
"Wait what ?" K'nuckles ask suddenly very wake. He like any chance at money or gold so this was news big to him. "when ?"
"When you fell sleep"
"Flapjack that was hours ago!" K'nuckles shout, angry. That was so much time lost! "He could be anywhere! Why not you wake up when see?"
"You always get angry when me wake you up' flapjack defend himself. K'nuckles could not argue with such logic be ause he admitted DID very pissed when woken from skumber
"Well, which way did man with gold go?" Knuckels ask and flapjack PO int indirection that he saw the man go.m "huery flapjack!" Blue man shout as he already running (to best of ability given his legs) in that direction "we get money!"
To both their surprise, they DID find man who had conventionly left his big bag gold unattend as he talk with fish merchant so the pair were able to steal. They heard man shout angry words as they ran off but man never caught them
"Am proud of you kid" K'nuckles praised pancake boy (rare occasion as he so often pissed off with young boy). "Thank you for being to attention"
"Of course" flapjack smile. "what friends for?"
"Okay, now FRIENDS is a bit far"
