Arthur comes back to camp covered in blood, having done a terrible thing and Charles confronts him about it.
"You've lost your damn mind, that's what I see! The sickness gone to your head. This ain't the man I knew. You maybe dying Arthur, but the man you were died a long time ago."
"I didn't lost my mind, you fool. I see things clear now, clearer than ever before." he said as he wiped the blood off his mouth.
"Seeing clear to you means killing an innocent family who tried to help you, just because you ain't feeling well? Because your dying? You've became a wild man Arthur. A savage, that's what you are. Killing every living thing in your sight." he said
"I've done everything right before, I did everything I could and look where it got me! I'm slowly fading away, the pain is unbearable. That's what I got for being nice, for being a good man? I won't be playing nice no more. I think I've had just enough of that."
