Summary
"Stanley's soft snores have become a comforting background hum to the Narrator's watch, even if they truly only represent another error in the other man's organic body. So when that snore stutters to a halt, the Narrator is instantly aware of it."
Stanley has a nightmare one night, a few months after he breaks the clock. Narrator has a crisis about it but tries to help anyway, in his own awkwardly fumbling sort of way.
