Hua Cheng has only been back for a little while after the events of Mount Tonglu and happens to find something. During the year he's been gone, Xie Lian has amassed a decent collection of "Study Materials". Books and scrolls describing and illustrating the intimacies between men.

“Would gege be willing to say more about what inspired this new collection?” Hua Cheng leaned closer, lifting up Xie Lian’s hand and giving it a reverent kiss. “This one does not mean to tease, he would love to hear more and share what knowledge he already knows.”
After a sigh, Xie Lian turns his head to look at Hua Cheng. The poor god’s ears are pink and the blush spreads down over his cheeks and nose.
“It’s embarrassing, San Lang…” He mutters, glancing down to where his hand was kissed. “Since i’ve meet you, there’s been all these thoughts and feelings i’ve never had before and they are so new and alarming at times….”
