"You know, this is all your fucking fault."
"What the fuck?! Why are you fucking blaming me for all this shit?!"
Loud yells were thrown back and forth between you and Bakugou, claiming that the other is at fault for the situation you're both are currently in..
Well, to start it all up... your group of friends had planned on going out hiking a forest as all of you guys had been so busy since becoming such successful heroes. This was planned as a way to bond as friends., to make memories together!
But on the last hour before the hike was about to start, your friends suddenly had important stuff to do that made them cancel themselves from the trip. Mina said her mother was suddenly sick and she had to take care of her, Sero and Kaminari said there were some sudden emergencies in their hero work. And Kirishima became sick from over-working himself as a hero.
They couldn't make it!
Unfortunately, except for one of them.
Bakugou Katsuki was free for the trip! Obviously, he didn't wanted to come to this 'stupid bonding shit'. He was forced by Kirishima, imagine the threats he yelled out when he found out that everyone besides you was able to be at the trip? Both of you do not get along, literally just- never.
You hated the way he thinks, the way he thinks he is superior than any other people and you weren't afraid to express your hatred against him. And the feelings were mutual too, he he also hated you. He hated the way you are so kind to his other friends, but somehow you were a bitch to him. I didn't even do anything! Was what he thought, but he's just not well-aware that you just hate his personality.
With that hatred bteween the two of you, both of you had to be stuck with each other in this stupid hiking trip! You guys fought about which way to take in the forest, yelling at each other "NO, IT'S THIS WAY!" when it is actually the other way that should be taken.
And for short... that lead to both of you getting lost.
"Because between the two of us, I literally have better sense of direction! But oh my fucking god! You wouldn't stop insisting on taking the lead!" You yelled out as you ran your hands through your hair in frustration.
"Shut the fuck up! If you stopped nagging earlier like a little bitch, we would've NEVER lost our way!" Bakugou didn't backed down with the blaming as his hands was crumpling up the map.
"OH MY GOD, you are so fucking annoying!" You whined in annoyance as you sat down on the ground, your legs were also getting tired with all that hiking.
"And you're one to talk." The blonde just rolled his eyes as he looks back down on the map once again, trying to find the way back on track.
The atmosphere could be sensed so easily if there was anyone else here besides the two of you. But sadly, it is just the two of you.
You sighed deeply before groaning, "What if we just camp here for now?" You spoke your idea, making Bakugou turn to look at you and just gave you a look that says 'Are you an idiot?'. His expressions made you scoff!
"What? You wanna keep searching for the way back? Bakugou, it is literally 5 in the afternoon right now. We have to camp quickly before it gets dark, you know?!" You say to him, trying to tell him that searching for the way back when it's nighttime isn't such a great idea.
Bakugou just sighed though, "Fucking fine! Whatever." Was all he says, hr was was also probably tired from the hike tired. Plus, you know he isn't that dumb to protest at what you had said because it was true, the night sky is just going to make it harder for the search.
At that, you both had started the work. Though, you both divided the work. You set up the camp as Bakugou cooks for dinner, he is much more of an expert when it comes to cooking. The process was unexpectedly quiet, you'd expect that they'd bicker while working, but they were too tired.
When everything was done, it was already around 6;40 in the evening and the night had already taken over the sky. You and Bakugou were eating besides the small fire, both of you being quiet and all you could hear were the crickets of insects coming from everywhere. You weren't really planning on chit-chatting with the blonde, you'd rather talk to yourself! So as soon as you finished eating, you immediately changed into some comfortable clothes in your tent to get ready for bed.
Pretty much, you left Bakugou out all alone. Not that you care.
'Fuck, I'm so tired.. my legs are so sore from all that hiking!' You complained inside your head as you got comfortable in your tent , wrapping yourself up with a warm blanket. It didn't took long for you to slowly fall asleep, as you vision turned dark before you lost conscious.
"You're not good enough as a hero!"
"How could you let my son die?!"
Loud yells were heard all around you, words filled with negativity. You tried to cover your ears to at least muffle the words that you're hearing from everywhere. But you couldn't, your body felt numb and you couldn't move a single muscle, coulsn't cover your ears from the words you're hearing that you're forced to listen.
Listen.
And just listen...
"Why'd you let her die?"
"You couldn't save my family!"
"You're pathetic as a hero, why did you let all of these people die? You aren't working hard, remember all those lives you couldn't protect? It's all you fault.."
"All your fault."
"Pathetic."
And you call yourself a hero?
"Y/n! Wake up!"
You woke up, immediately sitting up from your sleeping position before you head was knocked against another person.
"Agh! Fuck! That hurt, you motherfucker!"
You groaned in pain, your head having a headache from the hit it took. You looked up, and you were shocked to see who it was inside your tent.
"Bakugou?" You say. "The fuck you doing in my tent?" Your head was still in pain when it clashed against Bakugou's, it made you groan in pain.
"I wouldn't have been in here if it weren't for your loud whining, woman! Fucking god, you were so noisy that I couldn't sleep." He explains himself whilst rubbing his head, making it quite obvious that he was probably also hurting from the head clash you both had.
But besides that, you finally remembered... that dream you had, well, it was more like a nightmare. You almost forgot about it after waking up like that, but now you remember. Fuck, why did you had to have a nightmare right now, of all times!
"..Whatever, I'll try to sleep more quietly, now get outta my tent." You say to Bakugou, nudging him out but not too harsh. But then, unexpectedly, Bakugou caught your hand that was nudging him. Making you look at him all confused.
"What?" You say, but he just looks at you with an expression you describe to be on his face.
"Were you having a fucking nightmare or something?" He just suddenly asked. You were a bit in disbelief, who knew he was capable of reading other people like this?
You were thinking as to what to say, "..I don't fucking know, why are you asking as if you care. Just get outta my tent, dum-dum." Was all you say before you pulled you hand he was holding.
"What if you'll have a nightmare again? You'll be all noisy and shit, then you'll need me to wake you up." He says back at you, you were confused as to why he was acting like he does care.
"Jeez, what do you want to do? Sleep in the same tent?" You say, confused as to what he was implying.
But he just sat there, all quiet before he got out of your tent and leaving you there all confused.
'Why did he asked those questions out of a sudden?' Was what you had in your thoughts, and as you were about to start and zip close your tent agian.. but then, someone suddenly stopped you from doing it.
It was Bakugou, he suddenly welcomed himself into your tent once again, but he had his pillow in hand.
"What- what the fuck are you doing?!" You yelped as Bakugou pushed you to give him some space in your tent before taking that space.
And by what you just asked Bakugou, he just looks at you annoyed "Woman, you were literally the one WHO FUCKING SUGGESTED IT" He yelled, aggressively shrugging his shoulders as if what he had said was obvious. Then, he started to zip close your tent.
You were confused, before you remembered what you said earlier, if he wanted to sleep in the same tent.
Your face flushed a little, good thing it was dark in your tent or else Bakugou would've noticed it "What?! I was only asking, you know!" You yelled back, feeling Bakugou plop his pillow behind him before he laid down.
"Oh, so does that mean you want me to just go back into my own tent, then?" The blonde says beside you, you hear his tone being harsh as he asks you this question.
Somehow, you felt yourself closing your mouth. You didn't know what to say. Why aren't you saying anything?! It's probably mostly because you don't think he is being for real. Does he really want to sleep in the same tent as you?
Bakugou noticed you being all quiet at his question, making him audibly scoff at you "That's what I thought, woman. Now, sleep."
"What- whoa!"
You yelped when you suddenly felt your shirt being pulled from the back, Bakugou forcing you to lay down beside him. Now, all you could do was just... lay there like statue.
You didn't really feel like sleeping, with what just happened. Slowly, you turned your head to Bakugou, shocked to see he already had his eyes closed.
'Wow, so he actually doesn't feel weird about all this. Does that mean this is all just me then?! Why the fuck am I acting like this? Wait, no, why is HE acting like this? Acting like he cares, is this even the real Bakugou to begin with?' You were rambling inside your head, not even noticing that Bakugou had suddenly opened his eyes to look at you until you hear him speak up.
"What are you thinking?"
Your eyes flicked to Bakgou, despite from the darkness, you could still see his piercing red eyes.
"Nothing, just go to sleep.. weirdo" You say, turning around and having his face your back.
This was all much better now, you didn't had to make eye contact with that pretty eyes of his.
But then, suddenly, you felt muscled arms start to wrap around your waist. Your relaxed body turning stiff from the sudden contact, as you know damn well who's arms those were.
"Bakugou..?'
Was all you can thpnk, "Will you stop acting like an asshole? I'm expressing the fact that I care for you, but you just turned your back at me.." You suddenly heard from behind you.
His words made you confused, who knew he cared? You couldn't say anything, so you just kept quiet.
Though, you felt bad at the impression you just gave him after he expressed his... care for you? But you actually don't know what to say, so all you could do was just, put your hand on the arms that were wrapped around your waist and scooch yourself closer against his chest.
'Will this make him feel better?'
Before you could even think of an answer in your mind, you just felt him tug you closer into his chest.
Your stiff state was once again.. relaxed. You don't know anymore, but you do know that Bakugou was pretty warm against your body.
Suddenly, you felt your eyes start to get droopy. And your eye lids getting heavier and heavier. You were trying to think as to how all this happened. But right now, not only your body was tired from all the hiking earlier, but your mind was also getting drowsy from all that ramble of thinking.
'You know what, I'm just gonna think about... all this tomorrow. And maybe, Katsuki will also talk.. to... me about this..'
That was then... you fell asleep against Katsuki.
