"Then we could stop by the playground we used to play at as kids. Wouldn't that be cool…hey kanon, aren't you listening", chisato asked her blank faced girlfriend. "Oh yeah, that all sounds great", the young singer smiled. "Kanon, is everything alright? You seem a little distant". "Yeah I'm fine, it's just hard to believe I'll actually be leaving soon. This is…happening so fast". Chisato then laid her head on kanon's shoulder before speaking again. "I understand your nervous, but you have to be strong. Your destined for something great, and this entire town will be rooting for you…especially me", the second year smiled. With this being the last night kanon would spend in Japan; chisato had special plans for the two.
The young dancer wanted to take her girlfriend on a date she'd never forget. Chisato knew kanon was nervous about leaving everything behind and going to Australia. So she hoped this date would help her say goodbye to the world she'd grown to adore. Even to say farewell to the childhood friend she fell in love with. These plans aside; kanon was still extremely nervous. Chisato could see it everytime she peered into her girlfriends eyes. While these feelings were understandable, chisato wanted this final night to be a happy one. "Hey kanon, is there anywhere you'd like to go tonight?".
With stressed eyes kanon began thinking; but with so many places to see it wasn't easy. Though one familiar location began to stick out more than the others. "I'd like to stop by your work and get some takoyaki. It's always been so good". "Now that's the spirit!! I'll make sure we get the best of the bunch". About this time, the bell would ring signalling that school was over. "Look, go home and get ready. I want tonight to be one we remember forever". After giving her girlfriend a giant hug; she and kanon would go their separate ways. For kanon this time would be spent not only getting ready; but saying goodbye to her home life. From her mom and sister; to her adorable pet owl manmaru.
But as it does, time passed and soon it'd be time for her date with chisato. The final one the couple would have for a very long time. Kanon found herself picking out a cute but also casual outfit. Add a touch of makeup and our budding singer was ready to hit the town. As she went downstairs, chisato would already be waiting for her. Ecstatically greeting kanon with a hug like they hadn't embraced in ages. "You look great, hope your ready for some fun!". "I can't wait, something tells me I'll never forget this night". Out of the blue; kanon's mother snapped a pic of the girls. "Eeeh mom!!". "Heh, your both so adorable…stay out as long as you like". "Thanks Ms Shibuya, I'll protect your daughter with my life".
After giving a quick pat to manmaru; the girls would be off. The town was beautiful tonight, everything was lit up and gave off a romantic aura. One that the couple was quick to take notice of. "You know, this place can be really breathtaking sometimes", kanon smiled. "Maybe, but I'm sure Australia will have even more gorgeous site's". "You don't have to butter me up, everyone would kill me if I backed out of this now". "That's cause we know you'll do great! You'll probably even forget about us when you get all rich and famous". "Wha…I'd never!!". "I know, that'd be more of a sumire thing anyway", chisato giggled. "She'd kill you if she heard that", kanon laughed in reply.
Our happy couple soon found themselves arriving at chisatos part time job. Chi-chan would use her employment as a way to get the sweetest set of takoyaki she could. The circle obsessed girl then treated her girlfriend to this delicious treat. "Wow, these are awesome", kanon cheered. "They'd better be, those cooks wouldn't wanna face my wrath!". "Hah, your so adorable!". "And you've got some on your face, here I'll fix that". Chisato then leaned over and gave kanon's cheek a small lick. Of course this made the young idol turn completely red. "You didn't have to do that you know". "Awww admit it, you loved it", chisato teased. Just then however, this playful date would be interrupted by a familiar face. "Shibuya kanon!".
"Oh hey weinn, how's it going". "How's it going? Is this really how you should be spending your last night in japan?". "Yeah, what else should I be doing?", Kanon asked. "Tch, Australia is going to be the ultimate test of your skills. I'd be at home preparing for an all out war!". Before kanon could reply; chisato put her arm around her girlfriend. "She'll be okay, this is our time together. Kanon can deal with all that when I'm done with her". Wienn then gave a jealous sneer before saying her final words. "Consider this a warning, nothing about that school will be fun and games". As the fourteen year old stomped away, kanon and chisato overheard some jealous mumbles. "Tch, I wish you were my girlfriend. Stupid Shibuya kanon!!".
Chisato couldn't help but snicker a bit; but she was quick to forget about this encounter. "So, wanna go play at the park one more time". "That sounds fun", kanon nodded. At the park plenty of memories would resurface. Like when they would go there for practice with the rest of liella. Or when kanon first met and saved chisato from bullies. Ever since that moment; chisato had been so happy. She enjoyed every moment with kanon; even before she confessed and they were just friends. Kanon's positive outlook and beautiful smile always made chisato swoon. As the singer sat in a swing; chisato gladly gave her a push. "So do you think Australia will be tough like wienn said?". "Come on, if it is I'm sure you can handle it. I mean, we won the love live didn't we?". "Well, I'll be all alone for this one", kanon reminded. "Oh yeah…forgot about that", chisato sighed.
Both girls then went silent; leaving a strong sadness hanging in the air. Always the optimistic one, chisato tried to give kanon some assurance. "Well, you could call me everyday…every hour if you need to. You can keep me in the loop about all the gossip down under", the girl giggled. Regardless of what she said though; kanon started to sob. "Oh come on kanon, I'm sure you can come home during all the breaks. I'll pay for your flights if I have to!!", Chisato said starting to cry herself. Kanon then stood up, and leaned her forehead against chisato's. "For high schoolers, we're being such crybabies". Chisato then tackled her girlfriend to the ground with a powerful hug. "I'm gonna miss you…so much!!". "I'm gonna miss you too, I love you". After saying these powerful words; the two shared a beautiful kiss.
Kanon and chisato were completely absorbed by each other's touch. They didn't care how long they laid there, or who saw them. All they cared about now, was sharing this passionate farewell moment. Soon after the lip lock broke; kanon and chisato just laid there. Silently gazing up at the gorgeous star filled sky. In that moment, everything seemed to just melt away. The trip to Australia, how they wouldn't see each other anymore. It was just the two of them lovingly embracing; soon falling asleep in each other's arms. The next morning, both girls were woken up by a crowd of confused children. "Do you think they're dead?", One child asked. Kanon's eyes then opened to the sun beaming down on her. It only took a moment before the realization of what happened hit her.
"Oh-oh my god chisato get up!!! We-we fell asleep!!". "Ugh, what". "We fell asleep…my flight…we're gonna miss it!!", Kanon cried. Chisato then jumped to her feet and took her girlfriend by the hand. Quickly beginning to dash in the direction of the airport. Meanwhile, the children couldn't help but snicker at what they just saw. "Heh, what a couple of weirdos", one laughed. On the street, kanon called and informed her mother of this unfortunate situation. "Alright, my mom said she'll meet us there. We just have to hurry". "No need to tell me twice", chisato panted. Both girls kicked into high gear; thanking their lucky stars for all the stamina training.
The liella member's ran and didn't stop running until they saw the airport. There, kanon's family waited in utter panic. "They're already boarding, she's not gonna make it", her sister cried. Fortunately though, her guess would be wrong. As kanon and chisato came straggling into the airport coughing and wheezing. "I...I'm here", kanon cried. "Finally, the planes about to leave!". Everyone rushed kanon over to the jetway; where goodbyes had to be brief. "Alright honey, we all love you", her mother said tearing up. "Yeah sis, I'll be sure to take good care of manmaru". "Thanks, I love you guys both". Kanon then turned to her loving girlfriend and smiled.
"I'll be sure to call you everyday. And if there's any gossip…you'll be the first to know". Instead of saying anything, chisato went in for another passionate kiss. Leaving kanon's family blushing from this public display of affection. "Well this is awkward", aria sighed. Once the final goodbye was done; chisato gave her girlfriend a small push. "Alright, get out of here. Don't come back until your number one on the chart's". A teary eyed kanon nodded; grabbing her bags and bidding adieu to her old life. Before she could leave however, some familiar faces came to see her off. As every member of liella waved and held up signs with messages of support written on them. Words like we love you, good luck, you'd better not show anyone that video.
With the rest of liella by her side; chisato felt at ease. Not only because she had friends to help her through the loneliness. But because she knew that no matter how far apart they were; her and kanon's feelings would never change. Kanon herself was well aware of how powerful they're bond was. So much so, that she pulled out a pen and started to write. The singer scribbled out a beautiful tune about her last night in japan. Mentioning how no matter what; love always triumphed in the end.
