Summary
Adrien Agreste had always looked forward to the day he would be able to leave his father’s house. Moving into a duplex on the other side of the city should have been just what he needed. But now, with his new neighbor, a girl that screams for help half the night, and her cat, a sassy ball of fluff that keeps infiltrating his half of the house through their shared air vents, Adrien is sure his dreams of a peaceful home have been ruined.
Marinette had always dreamed of the perfect future. A loving husband, three children, a pet hamster.. Running from her ex-boyfriend with his cat in tow, Marinette is forced to take ownership of half a house on the other side of the city. After months of silence, Marinette had nearly convinced herself that she was safe. The appearance of a new neighbor, however, has her retreating back into her new home. Her days of trusting strange men are over and she refuses to let herself fall for one of her ex’s traps again.
