Chapter Text
The ceremony of the Dragon Flame was a grand affair, held in the grand hall of the palace of Eraklyon. The hall was decorated with banners and flags, and the walls were adorned with tapestries depicting dragons and other magical creatures. The ceremony was attended by the elite of Eraklyon, as well as dignitaries from the neighboring realms such as Solaria and Callisto.
Bloom and Sky stood at the center of the hall, surrounded by the dragon flame, a powerful magical energy that would determine whether Skye's soul was a match for Bloom's. They both held hands, their eyes locked on each other as they prepared for the ceremony to begin. Sky and Bloom were excited to prove their unbound love for each other, and this ceremony would only secure their future more. Sky's father, on the other hand, had mixed feelings. If Sky was indeed a mate for the dragon flame, then he would marry Bloom and be ruler of the most powerful nation in Magix. But King Erendor feared that he would lose his son to the curse of the Royal Dominions, who tended to have untimely deaths.
As the ceremony began, the dragon flame roared to life, engulfing the couple in a bright, fiery light. The room was filled with the sound of the flame, and everyone held their breath as they waited to see what would happen. For a moment, nothing seemed to happen. Then, suddenly, the flame began to change color, shifting from orange to blue. The crowd gasped as the flame began to take on the shape of a dragon, and flew in patterns in the air. The crowd waited for the flamy dragon to phase through Sky, proving that he was worthy of Bloom. They waited a long time, and after what seemed like hours, the dragon flew straight up in the air and shattered, sparks flickering down to the ground.
Bloom and Sky looked at each other in shock as they slowly came to the realization that their souls were not a match. The crowd fell silent, and there was a palpable sense of disappointment in the air. The royal couple was devastated. They had been so excited for the ceremony, and they had hoped that they would be soulmates. Now, it seemed that their love was not meant to be.
But Sky refused to let the ceremony's outcome dictate his feelings for Bloom. He took her hand and looked into her eyes, determined. "A spell can't tell me who to love," he said. "I love you, Bloom, and that's all that matters."
Bloom was touched by Sky's words and replied, "I love you too, Sky."
Sky smiled at her confession and leaned in to claim her with a kiss. The crowd was confused for a second, but then burst in joy at the couple's affirmation. Despite the ceremony's results, the two decided to still date and be together. They knew that their love was strong and they were willing to face any challenges that would come along the way. The ceremony may not have gone as they had hoped, but Bloom and Skye were determined to make their love work. And in the end, that was all that mattered. They were in love, and nothing else mattered.
Meanwhile, the dragon that had emerged from the ceremonial flame continued flying until it reached its mate. No magic was powerful enough to stop the Dragon's Flame, and the hologram easily phased through the protection spells and entered the Omega dimension, phasing through the man who had previously been sleeping, floating in midair.
The man's eyes opened, the flame reflecting in his eyes before he blinked and cleared his maroon colored eyes. He straightened himself into what he felt was a vertical stance, and roared in anger as he stretched himself awake.
The dragon's flame was awake.
