What does being in love even feel like? Lindir would not know, but he imagines it must be something like what he felt listening to Elrond play the harp. His heart beat just a little faster as the melody drew him in, and took hold of him with its gentle beauty – merciless, but not unkind. In that moment, with the almost haunting sound of the harp still ringing in his ears, Lindir has something of an epiphany.
