“Honestly, I can’t tell my position in this nation anymore…”
Have I become more of a god or more like a leader, do the people still love me or do they fear me more? Rimuru thought to himself as he looked up into the sky. He questioned every bit of his existence in this world he was suddenly brought into after he was stabbed to death. What would happen if he were to just disappear?
Suddenly, an idea popped into his mind. A little experiment to test his nation and the people he loved, what if he were to just suddenly vanish out of thin air?
“Raphael, is it possible that I could hide the majority of my aura and hide in plain sight amongst the people of my capital?”
“Notice: It is possible by adapting the skill Maximum Concealment and utilizing it with your shapeshifting abilities to hide as any possible person, including using body double to hide as a completely different looking human or humanoid.”
“Alright, then let’s try it and see what happens”
“Warning: Initiating Maximum Concealment”
Elsewhere,
Diablo could feel a sudden shock in his essence as if what he cared most about suddenly just blinked out of existence.
“Warning: Entity attempting to teleport directly towards our location, initiating measures to completely conceal our presence, must proceed with caution.”
Diablo appears just on scene, only to notice, there was nothing, nor anyone around. He searched frantically as if he were looking for someone. Meanwhile, one tiny blade of grade away hid a small blue blade of grass.
Diablo continued to search, checking each treetop and every rock nearby. His connection was lost in this direct location, he was sure of it, he could tell that his master's essence vanished from this point! Where could he have gone without his master's warning??
A panicked expression began to fill his face as he was stricken with grief and despair as he began to pound at the floor, as if he lost something deeply valuable to himself.
Throughout the Jura Tempest Federation, a sudden shockwave was felt throughout the entire nation. It was as if something important vanished into thin air without them realizing it. Many suspected at the time that it could have simply been a bad feeling the day would be going wrong for them but only those at the top felt as if something had truly gone wrong, those who had the deepest connection to Rimuru knew something was wrong.
Souei in the middle of his scouting mission across the perimeters of the forest felt the sudden change and immediately began searching around for an answer to the sudden heartache he had just felt.
Shuna in the middle of her duties felt that something was amiss but wouldn’t take action until her tasks were done, it was the most regal thing to finish till completion.
Benimaru felt the shock and began to think that a possible conflict must’ve broken out, he was relaxing far too much, maybe he was thinking about everything that could possibly go wrong.
Shion felt it and immediately she wanted to obtain comfort from this terrible heartache but she had many duties as secretary to finish and complete beforehand. She didn’t want to disappoint Rimuru when he got back, or at least that is what she was hoping for.
For Veldora, he felt as if part of his essence suddenly was ripped away from him, as if the closest thing to him was yanked apart from him. The sudden deep hell like the time he got drained by Valentine for stating her name in front of everyone. It was a pain he could not endure, so naturally he tried to teleport to Rimuru’s location based on where Rimuru’s aura was, but where was Rimuru’s aura?
An hour passed as nightfall came back, everyone in the Prime Minister's Office had the exact same thing in mind, just what the hell happened?
Everyone from Ranga, Diablo, Shion, to even Gobuta, Rigurd, and Veldora all had the same question in mind to ask everyone else in the building. Everyone waited patiently for several minutes before they finally could grasp the reality of the situation.
