Summary
Grian is miserable.
He hasn’t preened in—a while, admittedly. And, look, that’s for quite a few reasons, okay? He’s been insanely busy working on his base, as Impulse and Gem and Scar have forced him to do. Impulse and Gem, especially, who crafted a glorified time bomb above his beautiful Dwayne the Rock. So forgive him if he’s been a bit focused on making sure that all his hard work doesn’t go to waste. Plus, there was that thing with the tunnel bore, and he’s been so busy with trying to collect supplies for Doc after that whole mess. Besides, the paranoia has been eating at him, since he wouldn’t put it past Doc to somehow mess with his base. Or, Void-forbid, his nest.
Grian can't take a break. Not even to take care of his wings.
Or, Grian’s wings are so itchy that he’s half considering tearing them off, at this point, and there’s only one person who can help.
Only thing, though—has Scar ever preened wings, before?

Grian has crushes on Mumbo and Scar. This by itself isn't a bad thing. They're both handsome, kind, funny, and everything Grian could ever want. But he can't go ahead and ruin their friendship by confessiing to them, so he satisfies himself with letting a few bird-like courtship rituals slip out, hoping they won't notice them. What would they do if they did, he wonders? Reciprocate his feelings? Accept him with open arms and kisses?
Don't be ridiculous.Or; Five times Grian courted Mumbo and Scar with some avian style and they had no idea, and one time they did.

Summary
After years of torture and pain, Grian finally escapes the clutches of the Watchers. He crash lands on a strange server, injured and panicked. But the players are hunting him, and he’s too weak to fight back. He resigns himself to a life of running and hiding.
Scar is a little mesmerized by the stranger that had forced its way onto Hermitcraft. Everyone seems convinced it’s hostile, but the few interactions Scar’s had with it seem to say otherwise. Maybe it just needs a friend?
_______OR these two traumatized idiots slowly (and I mean SLOWLY) fall in love while trying to recover from their messy pasts. But pasts aren’t something you can just run away from; especially in their cases.
There’s other relationships explored as well, but my Scarian heart has to make these two the center of the story.
