Today is easy. Easier than their lives usually are. Sharon is grateful for it. There's something beautiful, something so peaceful about waking up next to Steve and not being in a rush. They got reacquainted with each other's bodies last night, now they get to just be at ease.
Steve makes her a cup of coffee. She drinks it in bed. They catch each other up on everything they missed recently. In between they share kisses and gentle touches.
Today is easy. Today they get to just be in love, just be a couple. It's a nice change of pace.
