It was just half time in the game between PSG and Marseille. Team PSG was in the dressing room to discuss how to proceed. Neymar just recently had his surgery which allows him to hear more than with his normal hearing aids. However, it was very exhausting for him to hear for a long time with the cochlear implants. Neymar tugs at the head of his device to take it off. Messi saw that, of course, and took Neymar's hands away from his head. He gently held Neymar's hands and tried to calm him down a bit. "I know it's very tiring for you Ney... but if you plug out your implants, you won't hear us anymore..." says Lionel, making sure he speaks clearly so that Neymar can watch his lips. "Can't I just wear my other ones? The ones I used to have?" Neymar was still speaking slurred and indistinctly. Doctors said it probably wouldn't change.
As the team played in the second half, Leo noticed that Neymar's performance dropped significantly. Neymar seemed more stressed and out of sorts. However, he survived that half and the team won 3-1.
As the team entered the dressing room to change, Neymar sat down on a bench, shaking. He started crying because it was all too much for him. His team partied around him and were loud too loud. Lionel noticed this and knelt in front of Neymar. He carefully closes the cochlear implants of Neymar's head and immerses Ney in a world of stillness. Neymar looked at him and now smiled a little. He could see Leo talking to him. Leo said something about taking a shower. Which he then did with Neymar.
After they finished, they went home. The two lived together as friends. Neymar slept on the way home. It was a busy day for him.
