When Nico got sleepy, he got softer. Usually he always has his guard up, and doesn't let anyone touch him.
He hasn't slept in 5 days.
Everyone was at the amphitheater for the campfire. He was sitting in between Will and Percy.
Nico was over his crush on percy, but he had had to admit, he still loved Percy’s lopsided grin, and he could easily get lost in those sea green eyes… ok, maybe he wasn't quite over him yet.
But Will, beautiful Will. with his messy, but adorable blonde hair. His sunny grin, and his freckles that only appear in the summer. And his bright blue eyes. Nico wanted to get lost in those eyes, and never come back.
“No. Stop it.” Nico mentally slapped himself.
“Stop what?” Percy asked him. Shoot, maybe it wasn't mentally.
“Nothing,” Nico replied.
“Ok,” percy said with a knowing smirk.
Enough about Will’s crystal clear, blue eyes that could gaze into his soul.
“Twizzler?” Percy chirped.
Nico and Will reached in at the same time. “Oh, crap” Nico thought as his fingertips brushed Will’s. He quickly grabbed one and started munching on it.
About an hour later, he fell asleep curled up, with his head on Will’s lap, and his feet on Percy’s. He started having a nightmare and began to toss and turn. Will began to comb his hair behind his ears with his fingers. Nico calmed down a bit, burying his face into his arms.
When the campfire ended, everyone left but them. Chiron called up to ask what they were doing. Percy told him Nico fell asleep in their laps. Right then, Nico sat up, with messy hair, blushing.
“What happened?” he asked.
“You're cute when you sleep.” Will said
Nico blushed harder, as he got up and headed to his cabin.
“See you tomorrow babe!” Will called after him, joking.
Nico almost passed out. “Babe?” He thought to himself. “I’m just going to hide in my cabin tomorrow.”
