"Dryads were interesting because almost no one had ever seen them. These forest nymphs skillfully hid, behaving quirkily every time they felt the presence of someone nearby. Legends were made up about their charm, passing them from mouth to mouth, naturally later embellishing and adding non-existent qualities: both external and behavioral.
Dryads were hostages of one guise — so many thought, without having an accurate idea of the guardians of the forests. There were different rumors, and even the fantasy world itself did not fully understand who the dryads were, how to behave with them and what to do if you suddenly see one such representative of a mysterious race.
Practically nothing was known about their habitats either. Someone said that they lived right in the trees, hiding behind hundreds of layers of bark, someone, like an ordinary animal, in burrows, deep, deep underground.
No one was prepared for the fact that one day the dryads themselves would appear, giving the world the opportunity to contemplate their beauty, courage, grace and resourcefulness. And they will also doubt the authenticity of this fact that happened."
"So it turns out that someone saw them, but rejected it?" Moonbyul asked herself a logical question while listening to a lecture by a young teacher on the history of the emergence of various mythical creatures.
She lowered her gaze to Moon, adjusting her glasses with her index finger, which smoothly descended down the bridge of her nose. She even chuckled when she was next to the student.
"The dryad must have clouded his mind or something. It is not fully known about all the possibilities of both dryads and nymphs in general. The Naiads lived in a watery area, and many said that they could control the waves. Oreads are in the mountains, and all landslides, the collapse of mountains are their activity. But, again, we can't know for sure. To see a dryad is a great happiness".
For some reason, Moonbyul was so hooked on the last words that they unconsciously remained in the girl's subconscious. And for the rest of the allotted time, she thought only about this.
A variety of different thoughts and details were forming in her head. Moon even fantasized about how the forest patrons could look outwardly. It all came down to one single image, when Byul was already walking in the direction of the house.
Birds were singing around, the sun was high, but its rays penetrated everywhere, reaching even to juicy green blades of grass and warming the top of the blue-haired one.
Byul was walking slowly, humming some song to herself, when suddenly she suddenly tripped over a stone, losing her balance. Her palms began to look for a support object, and then the girl grabbed the trunk of a tree standing very close, when suddenly ... she felt that it moved.
"What kind of impudence?" Moonbyul also heard someone else's voice, but apart from the trees next to her, she saw nothing.
"Are you asking?" the blue-haired girl was surprised and did not fully understand the comicality of the situation. "Who's here?"
She thought she was lying, that because of the clouding of her mind, she began to hear voices and was definitely crazy. But there is a real picture in front of my eyes, and the sensations are so vivid, so that the resulting resonance quickly filled the whole body of the girl.
"I'll take it and I won't forgive you".
Moonbyul was still in the same position — hugging the slender trunk of the tree with her palms. But now it felt like it was far from a tree — the graceful waist, quite a feminine figure of a young, even a young person allowed Moon to realize what was happening.
"You... you're a dryad", she didn't even ask, she just carefully said it out loud in order to make sure of what she saw more herself.
Surprisingly, the stranger nodded. "And you?"
"I'm a muse", Moonbyul quickly gave an answer and could not take her eyes off the dryad.
A wreath woven from plants and bright flowers adorned her head; thick and curly hair, as black as resin itself, was as long as her waist, and a snow-white chemise covered the nakedness of the female body. The dryad was barefoot, unlike the same Moonbel, dressed like a man more than a fantasy creature.
"Muse? And my name is Hwasa", the dryad smiled and moved from her place.
That's when Byul was left without feelings under her palms.
"That is, my name is Moonbyul, I am mu-use", stretching the vowel, as if to make it clear that she belonged to those beings who were responsible for inspiring people; this was not her name. Moon tried to convey this to the forest beauty.
But she giggled in response, and Moonbyul smiled harder.
"Now will you make me forget about our meeting? It is rumored that dryads can do this".
They were walking in the direction of the fairy community, wanting to visit Solar. Hwasa shrugged, having no answer to Moon's question. "And you believe what they say?"
"There is no data, but I want to know more. Why not?"
Ahn lowered her gaze and stopped, turning back to the muse.
"We don't erase memory or fog the mind, if that's what you mean. If a person or entity wants to forget about us, it forgets. If he wants to remember, he does it. Everything is as simple as possible".
Hwasa looked young, much younger than Moonbyul herself, but she clearly thought deeper. This was especially noticeable now by her last utterance. Is it probably because dryads lived in trees?
God, Moon had so many questions for Hwa.
"Okay, I get you".
The girls smiled at each other again and followed them to the right place.
Moonbyul now really realized that seeing a dryad is a great happiness. After all, Hwasa could tell her a lot now. And she wasn't against it — on the contrary, she made contact, finally finding a being who treated her much differently from the others.
