Relaxation method

Summary:

Kenma helps Kuroo relax

Notes:

Day 1: Domestic.

Work Text:

As soon as he stepped through the opened door, Kuroo took off his suit and threw it unceremoniously onto the sanding hanger. After that, he closed the sliding door with his foot and stepped out of his shoes. He knew that Kenma wouldn’t be happy of him leaving his shoes in the middle of the genkan, but on that day, he was too tired to care.

He walked into the house and after washing his hands, he took his way towards the living room. While walking there, he loosened his tie, making himself easier to breath. When he reached the door of the living room, he stopped for a second. On the sofa, there was his boyfriend with his hand PSP, deep concentration on his face. Kuroo felt his lips curling up. He had seen that sight countless times during his life.

”Welcome home!” He heard the voice, pulling Kuroo out of his thoughts. He blinked, seeing Kenma peeking at him from the corner of his eyes. ”Hard day?” He asked, and Kuroo groaned. Kenma scooted over, putting his hand PSP to the coffee table. He patted the couch next to himself, and Kuroo flopped down onto his back without a second thought.

”I fucking hate paperwork!” He groaned as Kenma ran his fingers through his hair. ”The start of a new season always comes with it.”

”That is why I decided to work something lacking it,” Kenma mumbled, half-mindedly. Kuroo peaked up at him in question. ”I trust the company’s paperwork to others,” Kenma explained, and Kuroo snorted.

He closed his eyes, so he could relax, but not soon after Kenma pushed him up into a sitting position. Kuroo turned around with an indignant sound leaving his lips, but Kenma was already on his feet, pulling the other up from the sofa as well.

”What is the big idea?” Kuroo inquired as they hurried towards the bedroom. He had many ideas in his head, but had no idea what his boyfriend had in mind.

”Relaxation,” Kenma said simply, then pushed the bedroom door open. He walked up to his nightstand, pulled out the drawer and took out a hair tie. He turned towards Kuroo and gave it to him, then flopped down onto the bed on his side. ”Do as you please,” he said, then added, ”and wipe that idiotic smirk off your face!”

Kuroo laughed at that, then lay down behind Kenma. He gathered his long hair in his hands and started ting it up into a bun. His movements were slow and delicate and Kenma sighed in bliss. He loved Kuroo playing with his hair just as much as the other did.

”Thanks, kitten,” Kuroo said after finishing his work. ”I really needed this.” He wrapped his arms around Kenma’s waist and pulled the other flat against his front.

”Yep, I know.” Kenma answered as he turned his head around, meeting with two shining, love-struck eyes. He blushed and wanted to turn his head away, but Kuroo touched their foreheads together, so there was no escape. Having no better idea, he rubbed their noses together, earning giggles from his boyfriend. ”Stop being cheesy!” He said before wrapping his arms around Kuroo’s front and snuggling into his chest.
