Chapter Text
- This fic starts in autumn/fall 2023
- In this fic Ninjago City is somewhere in Canada, mostly bc Ninjago is a Canadian show
- The city is massive and has an extremely clear class divide, a majority of the characters in this are not in the higher class
- Pixal, Skylor, Kai, Lloyd, Zane, Cole, Jay and Nya all know each other from elementary school, they all went to middle school together. Lloyd went to a different high school (Wu's Academy) and later Pixal transferred there
- Wu's Academy is a private school that allows students to focus on specific subjects (sort of like a university?) but they have to pass core subjects (maths, English, science)
- This fic is not based on any real world events, but there will probably be references to some pop culture
- this fic is gonna be MOSTLY written as chatfic and social media fic, but there will be some scenes and chapters written like a regular story
- I want the story to be mostly fun and light hearted but it is gonna have a fair bit of angst
- the first couple of chapters mostly focus on Lloyd and their shit, but as the fic progresses it'll focus on different people
- it'll go comething like:
Lloyd >> Kai >> Nya >> Jay >> Cole >> Zane >> Pixal >> Skylor >> Gene >> Brad >> Morro
- that order might change I'm mostly just going with the flow
- also all the chapters in this will be updated and edited if more information needs to be added
- Misako, Garmadon and Lloyd are not allowed to speak in Japanese during visits as none of the guards can understand it and they want to know what people are saying (to avoid anything bad happening)
